Price's loss against Teper was officially changed to a no contest by the Bund Deutscher Berufsboxer (BDB; Association of German Professional Boxers), the hosting countries governing body. Originally, the EBU, who sanctioned the fight, seemingly maintained the original result as valid. However, It seems the EBU was never officially informed about Teper's doping violations at the time, which likely contributed to the fight results remaining unchanged. Latterly, his win against Price was indeed later changed to a No Contest.
This suggests that the lack of communication between regulatory bodies at the time played a role in how the results were handled, rather than the EBU actively maintaining them as valid despite the doping issues.

Are you sure? According to this article, the BBBofC came out in support of Price. The fight’s officially been declared a no-contest by all parties as far as I can tell.

As much as feel bad for Price and hate Teper and his PED-fueled win streak, I think the statute of limitations is long over for this result to be changed.
