Yay charlo wins.

Doctor stoppage in 5th round.

He dropped him before that.

Does he still got it?

Don’t know.

I don't think he'll fight him. In the post-fight conference, Charlo still wants Plant.

So Plant has a rematch which he is open to.

Charlo said he’d still be willing to fight Plant next.

Then Plant said he’d fight Charlie rather than taking rematch.

Maybe let Charlo fight Resendiz.

Plant pulled a Garcia.

Biggest upset this year so far?

As long as they don’t sell it as a PPV

Let’s do it.

Well deserved for Resendiz, had it 116-112, Plant looked flat, couldn't put his shots together, couldn't match the workrate, he had success with lefts, usually to the body but everything was single punches, can't remember him landing a right at all, Resendiz was busier, hurt Plant more than once, put combinations together, banged to the body and generally outworked Plant, Resendiz was clever by always finishing rounds strong and backing Plant up, Plant was cut and just looked like a beaten fighter, fck knows what one of those judges were watching

Rolly beating Ryan was bigger I think. This one is a tad beneath it.

That's 'journalism' for you.

Existing for the moment only.

Worthless ephemera at best, misleading deceptive propaganda at worst.

Looks like Plant himself was taken in by it.

Soundly beaten and even the standard usual one bought judge couldn't save him.

I thought Plant looked awful. I'd like to see him fight Charlo next and Resendiz meets the winner.

Plants face marked up early
Plant has the physicals but the 32 years showed they are taking a toll in this division

I agree. For recent upsets...

1. Romero-Garcia
2. Surace-Munguia 1
3. Resindez-Plant

Plant has issues with pressure fighters.
A fight versus Charlo would still be interesting.
A rematch with Resindez will require a whole different game-plan for Plant.
Charlo-Resindez is overall the most interesting bout amongst these three though.
Plant might just be permanently Gatekeeper type material at this point. That fire doesn't seem to be there anymore.
Even McCumby, the bar room brawler throwback gave Plant some serious fits early on.
Good thing for Plant that McCumby has a small gas-tank. He really had Plant early on.
