Let say both Mickey Walker and Benny Leonard could fight any version of Harry Greb possible like either his early career or peak or late career what would be their best chance of any version of Greb they could possibly get to beat Harry Greb

I'd say, the later version of Greb could possibly lose to a prime Mickey Walker. It'd still be a very tough outing for Walker.GordonChen wrote: ↑25 May 2025, 12:27 Let say both Mickey Walker and Benny Leonard could fight any version of Harry Greb possible like either his early career or peak or late career what would be their best chance of any version of Greb they could possibly get to beat Harry Greb
I could see Walker winning a very narrow decision which likely would be one of them contested decisions, where many would say, no, it should've been a draw, they need to have a rematch. That's what I picture. This would once again be that later lesser version of Greb. The one that lost to Tiger Flowers.
With Benny Leonard there's Obviously A huge size discrepancy. Benny was a small guy, even at 135.
Only 5'5, to 5'5-1/2. Similar height to Henry Armstrong, and Manny Pacqiou.
Just like with the Mickey Walker versus Harry Greb hypothetical, I could only picture Leonard fighting against the later more vulnerable version of Greb. Still even then, just too much size difference.
Leonard might've held his own versus the later version of Greb, but for only 4 or maybe 5 rounds.
Beyond that point Greb starts mauling him up, and then brutally stopping Leonard between rounds 7 to 9.
