How Would Sam Langford vs Black Murderers Row Go

Could Sam Langford beat the likes of Charley Burley,Holman Williams,Cocoa Kid,Aaron Wade,Jack Chase,Lloyd Marshall,Eddie Booker,Bert Lyell especially in a series?

You will never know, but, if he fought those guys, he would not come out undefeated. He would win and lose some of those fights.

That's a great company of boxers. That's why Sugar Ray Robinson didn't face them.

Sam Langford would face them all. Without a problem.

The Boston Bonecrusher would have a winning record, but with a few losses against the Black Murderers Row in a great battle. Langford may lose to Charley Burley, Holman Williams and Lloyd Marshall, but he would get the better of them in each series.

Yeah that's my thinking too. You can't say any of these fighters aren't good enough to beat anyone on the right day, but Sam Langford has achievements to his credit that no other man in Boxing history can claim, and it's hard to imagine he doesn't get the better of these guys more often than they'd get the better of him as you say.
