Hopefully Green vaulted up the IBF's rankings. It's bad that Gonzalez is highly rated by the IBF, would much rather see Woods-Green, with Danny coming over here for a good scrap

Would be a good fight if it happens, Green would be a dangerous opponent at 175 as he has big power in both hands, He hurt Delisle with evrey good punch that landed and could have finished it in the early rounds if he stepped it up a bit.

I'd like Woods-Green. No reason it couldn't be a voluntary. Hopefully they'll make Gonzalez fight an eliminator - against Garay or some such.

And whilst Calzaghe is the priority, I would like to see a partial unification. But the lhw's are fighting so sporadically that even if one could be lured, the timescale would no doubt be annoying. I would have said Tiozzo or Branco would be easiest to make. Perhaps not the most inspiring, but certainly a good substitute if the sicknote fight fell through. Only which one? Tiozzo's not defended the belt for 18 months ffs. Branco wins the interim belt just two weeks after Tiozzo makes his "comeback" 5lb of heavyweight.

Then there's Ademeck, who's under King's cosh, and Erdei, who won't make another move now until Evans Ashira has beefed up to 175.

Green looked sharp as fvck in his last fight. Green-Briggs would be awesome. That fight must be on the cards somewhere. Green has been written off but I hear he had some medical problems that have been soprted out. Seems to have a new lease for the moment.

Green did say in the build up to the fight that he wasn't planning a perminant move to Light Heavy (just didn't want any excuses for DeLisle this time).... However, given the manner of his victory he should probably consider a perminant move. I think all roads are now blocked at Super Middle (with the Mundine loss).

Its a match that is very much acceptable as far as I am concerned, especially if Clinton cannot secure a bigger money fight next up (i.e. Calzaghe, Jones, Tarver).... However, is the risk/reward too great. I would even be tempted to make Green a slight favourite here.
