Evander Holyfield vs. Jesse Ferguson

Post by scorpio83 »

12 (or 15) Rounds Heavyweight Bout

Holyfield would make the "Real Deal" out of the "Boogieman" by countering his attacks with jabs and combinations on the body and head to either take a decision or stopping him from 6 to 8 rounds. What do you guys think and who do you got?

Ferguson was a scrappy guy but I like Holyfield to stop him in about 5 or 6 rounds.

Scorpio. You must every single one of us is going to pick Holyfield, no?

If Holyfield had fought Jesse Ferguson in his very first Heavyweight bout it may have been a little bit interesting, even then I'd have favored Holyfield to stop him late.

I can't imagine there's any point in time where the match could've realistically happened that Holyfield doesn't stop Ferguson.

Evander stands right in the pocket landing bombs to the body and head. Consecutive uppercuts knock Ferguson out. Round three.

I didn't expect you to, but why do you have a problem with my mythical matchup?

Because it's like saying who's a better band, The Rolling Stones or Aqua?

Jesse Ferguson was not in the great Evander Holyfield's league. The Real Deal by knockout in 5.
