I thought that was a clean body shot knockdown for Jai there in the 4th, but the referee made the odd call that he was holding and hitting.

At any rate he's dominating now. Feeling out process is over.

Let's hope he is finally gonna fight one of the other champs.
Feels like a waste of his prime.

Squeo was game as fvck, but I think he might of got his jaw broke. Squeo was giving away probably 25lb, 6 inches of height, probably more in reach and had about 1/10th the skill...

At the time when I first saw it I instantly thought, ah fvck he snapped his jaw. just by the reaction. so if the corner are saying they think its broken I would say they are correct.

Wonder how much longer Jai is going to continue hanging around at cruiserweight doing target practice on nobodies. Other than Briedis his title fights have been gimmies and he’s good enough to make some real noise - and real money - moving up

Yeah I'd say if he can't get a Unification fight next, he needs to move on to Heavyweight really. He doesn't have to rush right into the biggest fights, but I'd think there'd be more money even in being a Heavyweight contender than a Cruiserweight Champion.

As expected Squeo no match for Opetaia who had everything his own way, Squeo did land a couple, nothing wrong with his effort but he was too small and limited, Opetaia was poised and just picked it up by the round, thought the knockdown should've stood in the 4th, both were holding and Opetaia every right to land that body shot, still it didn't matter the right hook to finish Squeo in the 5th was class, the speed and delivery, Squeo knew his jaw went before he even went down

Some of the gloves now have so much of the weight away from the knuckle area. If your hands can cope with the impact there are bone fide punchers' gloves about. Maybe that's why we are seeing some of the damage we are?
