Alternatively, imagine escaping Haiti & then seeing your son earning a seven figure purse for one fight.

Hope kambo wins, just to keep the myth of kambo going. Seems so mediocre but has been in and around some of the best fighters in one of the best divisions.

I really like Hitchins and enjoy watching his skill, but if he threw the odd SRL style flurry, he'd be a lot more entertaining.handsofstone wrote: ↑14 Jun 2025, 07:16 This is gonna be another carbon copy of both Haney fights, one sided and boring

He's done well to get so many big fights on the back of that Teo win. Hasn't even been competitive, never mind won, against a decent opponent before or aftergregregegg wrote: ↑14 Jun 2025, 04:12 Hope kambo wins, just to keep the myth of kambo going. Surely boxrecs have the weights wrong for this fight? dev is 155 and his opponent says 129.... but the opponent normally fights at 155.

Don't know why they bother pretending to be taller - won't gain anything.

doesn't look 6' 1" but makes no difference.
Good prospect anyway, could do something for Indian boxing for sure.

Re: Richardson Hitchins vs. George Kambosos | DAZN - June 14, 2025
Dev looked decent, and I can see why matchroom would want a good Indian, but around those weights I just cant see Dev being nearly contender level.
Turki seemed to like him, named him as someone he wants on the canelo undercard... I'd want that too, biggest middle class in the world, can really boost your Netflix viewing numbers if you can produce any intrest.
The problem I have here is I don't think he will get good enough to be worth long term building with a canelo fight... I guess you run him out next matchroom show in a slight step up from this and see how it goes... but I think for the canelo card the fight needs to be interesting in itself... a canelo undercard 8 rounder with Nikita tszyu would be pretty red hot....

Yeah - he looks like he'll have a good career and be in good fights if he were - say - A Brit Indian prospect, but some enormous pressure to be "the first Indian superstar" might actually bugger his career up.
Re: Richardson Hitchins vs. George Kambosos | DAZN - June 14, 2025
Bugger. The normal site I use to watch boxing isn't producing good streams tonight.
Looks like I'll have to find another way to fall asleep.
