Chavez won't be KO'd but he will 'quit' feigning some kind of injury, pulled out by his corner. Then we will listen to Paul banging on about how he is ready for a title shot.

That said, would love to be wrong and hope Chavez, for all his many, many flaws and dislikeable character, sparks him.

i dont know much about matt vanda, but jake paul is not on the level brian vera was. jake paul is novelty boxer who couldnt even beat tommy fury - another novelty boxer and the only guy paul fought who was a boxer close to his prime people had actually heard of.

brian vera was tough as nails and knocked out andy lee and sergey dziziniruk - two olympians and former/future world champs. also beat sergio mora twice. and this wasnt when they were all horribly shot either.

Vanda was a mn club fighter. Tough guy. Beat jcc jr only to lose on the cards (one judge gave every round to jcc jr haha). They had a rematch jcc r won legitimately

Paul is as good as vanda skillset wise.

Bloody great result. How quickly things change in boxing.

A year ago Schofield & Zepeda were two hot prospects with Zepeda being seen as a danger man.

Then Zepeda had the tougher than expected bouts v Farmer where he was dropped & hurt while Schofield had the embarrassing withdrawal from the Shakur fight.

Now Zepeda heads into the Shakur bout slightly damaged goods & Schofield looks better than ever.

Love this sport.
