Shouldn’t they test him now then?
Surely it’s out of his system?
And if he’s still on it then ban him.

This is why I believe all testing in association with any fight sanctioned by an alphabet or state commission should be publicly available online.
Details on tests taken, dates what was tested for ect ect . Then all the results (with all the levels)

Typical of IBA.
There’s clearly competition between them and Turki so they release the news of this in fight week when Khataev is on the main show.
Similar to how the dealt with Khelif and co on the eve of the Olympics.

Just read an article on boxing 24(quick side note, that site is gutter press, some real garbage writers) which suggests that the it’s a two year ban but the fight goes ahead.
It also has an interview with Morrell saying he feels bad for the guy.
That’s surely a sign he’s juiced up too! No way are you saying that if your clean and about to fight the guy.

The reason fight is going ahead as I believe the tester is not recognised by WADA I believe they are based in Russia so WADA won’t accredit them and only acknowledged by the IBA

What a mess, can you imagine another sport tie itself in knots like this one.JackGlad wrote: ↑12 Jul 2025, 03:54Bigdogsnose wrote: ↑10 Jul 2025, 07:56 Just read an article on boxing 24(quick side note, that site is gutter press, some real garbage writers) which suggests that the it’s a two year ban but the fight goes ahead.

This isn’t just Boxing no governing body of any sport under WADA can use Russian testing agency’s if they upheld the ban he could sue and probably winBigdogsnose wrote: ↑12 Jul 2025, 08:44What a mess, can you imagine another sport tie itself in knots like this one.JackGlad wrote: ↑12 Jul 2025, 03:54Bigdogsnose wrote: ↑10 Jul 2025, 07:56 Just read an article on boxing 24(quick side note, that site is gutter press, some real garbage writers) which suggests that the it’s a two year ban but the fight goes ahead.

Perhaps dirty athletes should start doing their training camps in Russia until.the political landscape changes. Take whatever you like, none of the international testers will show up and they won't take any notice of Russian testing for political reasons. Providing you pass your tests when you arrive in the country where you are competing, you are sorted.
