Yeah he’s huge. He looked skinny at weigh in but obviously manages his weight well. Sheeraz. Canelo won’t fight him unless he won a title. Canelo is at the stage where he only wants big paydays that he’ll definitely win…. Usually on pointsMiguello wrote: ↑13 Jul 2025, 11:56He strangely still looks even bigger than 168, dwarfed Berlanga completely. He could be fighting at light heavy. The joys of modern sports science/conditioning etc allowing fighters to cut weight on the day...JamesPhilips wrote: ↑13 Jul 2025, 10:37He’s moved up to super middleweight now. Last night was at 168 which will suit him better
I'm really not understanding the Canelo comments either. Canelo is about 5 foot 7. This guy punches harder than Bivol, is taller and has 3 inches more reach. It would be another bizzare matchup imo and not a fight that seems natural. Highly doubt Canelo would be interested in that after last night.

Wow, what a superstar, that’s the way you take New York. Channelling Tommy Hearns there. Sheeraz what a boy
My God, David Morrells brave management…accepting the second monster in a row for him…bad news. And this Russian beast was on PEDs too.

Stevenson/Zepeda was a good fight, fought at a good pace, I had Stevenson winning 116-112, thought the cards looked harsh on Zepeda who's volume was phenomenal as ever, looked an even fight midway for me but Stevenson pulled away with his quality, his shot selection was class and his combinations were accurate, great defensively as well, made Zepeda miss, does the shoulder roll well, was happy to lay on ropes and let Zepeda pound away to the body, Zepeda just couldn't put a dent in him, I know he stiffened Stevenson with a short jab in the 3rd but it looked worse than it was, Stevenson upped his pace down the stretch and comfortably seen it out a clear winner

Sheeraz was near punch perfect, controlled Berlanga ,bullied him , manhandled him, probably pushed too much but he rendered Berlanga useless, he couldn't really get off, the combination of the knockdown in the 4th was lightening and the follow up KD was a finisher, brave ref to let that go on, just as well the bell went, still no messing about from Sheeraz in round 5, left then a huge right buckled the knees of Berlanga and that was that, as great as it was to see Berlanga get spanked, he done well to get up from they knockdowns

Just watched it again as it was so short. Berlanga has very bad distance control. He gets too close but still throws wide, blocky punches while exposing himself. Awful head movement too which is why he got clipped. Only good thing he showed was a good jab at times but it wasn't enough.
Luckily for Sheeraz there are very few fighters in his weight with the head movement of Adames which seems to be his achilles heel, so he is in a very good place

That made me chuckle and I’m a Spurs fan
