Yeah I don't see it as too quick a step up, he has been at euro level for too long in my opinion. Harrison even without his problems is far from unbeatable and this could be a great chance for Cook to get a belt.
If it leads to a fight with Marquez then great, should boxers in world class want to fight the best...?

My sentiments exactly. Cook, as I've said, is 27 now and should be near his peak or at his peak. A win against Harrison should give him the confidence of a world champ and the willingness to fight whoever gets in the ring with him.

Really interesting domestic clash, especially given Harrison's recent problems.
I like it this time of year when we start to get some boxing dates in the diary for those freezing cold dark winter nights when you don't want to be outside, so you can be in with a few beers watching a decent fight or two.

The prophet is vindicated. Skelton - and Khan - have appeared on boxrec's schedule for this card, Skelton's fight being billed as a Commonwealth defence. Theoretical possible opponents could be Johnson or Beck, who at least register on the world scene, but have not exactly had the best of it last time out, and I don't think they will be thrilled at the prospect of a Skelton fight in London for fringe title. Bergeron I'd say has a different agenda. Colin Wilson is being mentioned a bit now, but whether his name merits the "risk."
