Aye, I think MR will put him on a Sheffield show though at Park Arena
Doncaster Dome is his local 'arena' I'm sure Stefy Bull does shows there. Given the right opponent that show would sell out, it holds around 3000.
I boxed there before, remember it being a really good atmosphere

The Board has ordered Jamie TKV vs. Frazer Clarke for the vacant British title, who do we reckon Dave Allen will box next in that case? Presumably it will be on that Sheffield card and with Allen's WBA belt at stake.

Shame that Allen chose to defend that fake belt, He could have beaten TKV

I guess TKV, god knows who would show it, would be for pocket change.

Allen can probably get a bigger fight.

Clarke should win this easily enough

If he can't get the British then he does have options if someone is willing to stump up the cash for the right opponent. Unlikely to be on the Sheffield card but one later in the year:
Vacant Commonwealth belt vs Ahio/Barriere/Brown/Goodall/Teremoana/McKean/Pedro

Defend the English belt vs Hughie/Dacres or an undefeated regional fighter until the British becomes available

Challenge for the EBU belt vs Xhoxhaj

Take a bigger money but high risk fight vs Riakporhe/Okolie

Target a weak ranked opponent vs Hysa/Kadiru/Pettigrew/Charr

Gamble on targeting a faded veteran if someone is willing to stump up the cash vs Pulev/Wilder/Joyce

He didn't have a choice, the Board mandated TKV vs. Clarke for the vacant title.

I didn't realise that both the Commonwealth and English belts are vacant at the moment. English is obviously a step-down from the British and maybe Allen won't be interested but it would still be something to be English champion whilst waiting for a shot at the Londsdale belt.

In my head he beat Fisher for the English but clearly not. I think if he has longer term plans at the end of this year or next year, winning the English belt would be worthwhile.

Yes, I thought the same before the rematch, I think I even posted on the fight thread that it was for the English plus the WBA belt. Fisher had won the Southern Area at some point so that was probably where I was getting confused...

You're probably right, there isn't going to be any money of note there for the English title...

Saw Dave has been training with Fisher, thought that was good of him and the content was funny too. Dave said he is fighting in October in an interview yesterday, no idea who it is. He was very honest saying he would not go anywhere neat Kabayel. He was heavily involved in the commentary this weekend and I thought he came across with real insight, I enjoyed listening to it. How did others find it if they listened/saw it?

I thought it was very odd of Fisher to go up there.

I think it was Matchroom thing tbh, Dave said they are very different but was very accommodating. I am just glad his dad did not rock up

I have always enjoyed interviews with him but I've recently got into Dave's YouTube channel, his fight previews/reviews are really good and there's some decent content up there; plus he is a really funny chap. Always comes across as likeable and is probably far too honest for his own good.

I imagine it would be quite satisfying to beat the piss out of a faded drug cheat that beat the piss out of him. I'd like to see Dave face Yoka and maybe even Whyte after that to keep the storyline as a drug cheat avenger.
