Usyk respects his opponents. But there was something that made me think he really didn't like Dubois (maybe its all the talk from his team) and was looking for a KO win early.

In the dazn documentary he said he was working with a new fitness coach and looked to be developing his legs, so he could have more power. He certainly showed some pop tonight. Spun dubois' head round.
same. I think Usyk does enough sometimes to win on points and not bother risking a KO but DDD and his team asked for it (again). I'm sure he held fire on Chisora and AJ (first fight) when a KO was there

I hope that fight doesn't happen. Way too soon and definitely doesn't deserve it:

There are no challengers left for Uysk, only money if he wants it.

Tbh all of the possible fights would bore me.

I wouldn't begrudge Uysk finishing with JP and then Conor McGregor

The Kabayal argument is stronger in terms of boxing but not business.

Handing the baton to the next generation is the class thing to do and Usyk is class. Usyk v Moses could be a bit like Floyd v Canelo but I give Moses a better shot than I did Canelo. Didn't do Canelo any harm losing to Floyd.
Jim, I know you're big on itauma, but Usyk would absolutely torture him.

LMAO , did you see beige suit guy ringside jumping in joy as dubs attacked, only to turn away dejectedly when he was floored

also, lets be honest, usyk already beat dubs handily. maybe it boosts him a bit with added longevity in the division/you cant just say he beat a pre prime dubs, but it doesnt really move his position much

kabayel with his body punching has a tool to exploit arguably the more vulnerable area of uysk (more than the head at least)

usyk is too good for them all but i think there are at least guys with something different to offer

Allen reckons Kabiyel has the most realistic chance of beating Usyk because of his body punching
I would agree with that.
C'mon Parker has bugger all chance - we know his level very well.
but Kabayel..?

We don't know his level yet. :maybe:

dave was sure fury would beat usyk twice, wonder if he'd pick him again

tbf, i think he's got a point about the bodypunching, usyk is more vulnerable there than the head. also, usyk has great conditioning, it could be the key to slowing him down. that said, prob too basic to get to usyk but he's got some interesting tool

There's a lot to be impressed about Usyk, but it's actually his determination that impresses me the most

Usyk vs Parker
Itauma vs Kabayel

Winners face off. Usyk retires no matter what. That's the perfect plan

The problem for Usyk is that if you run Parker AND Kabayel then in 18-24 months time Itauma might be ready for the big fighter and people will be asking for that one before retiring.

By then he is knocking on 40.

Better for him if he keeps his word, has one more fight, gives it to Parker or Kabayel and them retires before father time calls.

That's the problem with these rematches. Unless the opponent (Fury/Joshua/Dubois) has achieved something in the time between the fights, they don't mean much. Although Dubois has won some fights, there are two way more deserving opponents who wouldn't helped Usyk's cause in an all time vote.

ya exactly, a fresh opponent ads more than beating the same guy again you already beat handily. and even if an opponent is competitive like fury was, once you beat them twice a third wins adds f@ck all

for me: parker, kabayel, or gold medalists fight vs jalolov (ya i know he's not done much as a pro) would be the ones for his last fight

if we are going just for maximum exposure, then go for the gold and fight jake paul or trump or something

Wasn't a good night for Fury.
Just endorses that Usyk is better.
Imagine him being life and death with Ngannou?
Or Wilder?

Me neither.
