Nothing / nobody out there has done anything to prove their genuine contenders to the throne or at his level.

Theres three choices

1 Retire

2 fight the B level guys - none of whom are proven to be near his level in Kabayal / Parker and neither draw huge money

3 make cash and fight Fury again for big money

I don't think Fury brings in the huge money it did before. I don't know who in their right mind wants to see that fight again.

Makes him feel relevant and he can show in to his teenage fans to make it look like he's going to fight a big name when he obviously won't. He will also use it as an example when he gets flattened by someone as something he always wanted to do as a kid. Weird guy

Echoing most everyone . . . Usyk is the King, a true ATG, P4P #1, the epitome of his boxing generation.

What an honor and pleasure it is to witness his professional excellence.

Parker offers nothing, kaybeyel better but needs a fight with an aj, fury or Parker first.

Outruma? Yeah maybe, destroy the next generation also.

Only for me Opetiaia and Outnuma can add to Usyks legacy.

What a display last night.
Good shout in Opetiaia.

I started following boxing in the Larry Holmes era. Usyk is as good as any Heavyweight I've seen since then.

I would see Fury III no problem. He pushed Usyk more than anyone else.

I think with Usyk's style and meticulous prep he can go on for longer.

I'd prefer Opetaia to face Ramirez first. The momentum behind Opetaia has evaporated because of his poor matchmaking other than the two Briedis fights.

Watching it back again, Dubois looked finished after the 1st knockdown, looked like he didn't want to continue.

He clearly could have gotten up after the 2nd kd, but wanted no more.

Dubois lacks the ability to adapt and was thoroughly outclassed.

Im so glad to have witnessed Usyks title runs, incredible career, and a great human being it seems too, though obviously never met the man.

I think Uysk is too big to cut the weight, and Jai would need at least a year to develop into a heavyweight

He was asked in the post-presser about what keeps him motivated.

He said motivation isn’t it. You can have motivation one day and then not have it the next.

He said it’s all down to discipline.

Good job they're stopping paying for cards like this, the undercard was awful and not worth a cup of Turki's coffee. Even the main event was one sided and only worth seeing to appreciate how good Usyk is but Dubois once again didn't have the heart for the job

Parker and Kabayel should be fighting each other. I get they both want their shot at the King and so it'll probably take Saudi money to force them to do it, but to create a worthy challenger that's what needs to happen.

I like both the Opetaia and Itauma fights. And I like the idea of Fury and AJ facing off to make the argument for the trilogy.

Opetaia needs to unify against Ramirez (which I hope he does but suspect he doesn't) and then move up. Usyk should not have to concede anything, especially coming up in age as he is.

Itauma needs to beat Whyte and at least one fighter inside of the top 10, in style, and then he can be hyped enough to be a good opponent.

There will be at least 6 months between last night and Usyk's next fight. All of the above need to get fighting.

Quite proud to report I was there last night :OhYes:

No atmosphere at all until the main event, and then the place was rocking.

Exactly, he is the biggest money maker in town, Turki would be allowed to do it as well without paying a fee.

And JP is the biggest pension cash out ever

After last night can't believe nobody wants Lawrence Okolie.

Let him batter him silly and put us out of our misery.

Maybe even have Okolie and Bakole in a tag team two on one and have them do a round each. Call em The Rolie Polie Olies.

Usyk is just unbelievable, what a fighter. The finishing shot was beautiful. Just far too skilled for modern heavies :bag:

No Jai vs Usyk for the heavyweight title. Let’s see if Jai can do a RJJ or is he more Bob Foster. For me Foster is a great win for Ali. Despite Foster not being able to cut it at Heavy, Usyk has beaten all the main heavyweight contenders. If Jai steps up and does similar that would impact Usyks legacy a tad.

Outuma would be useful in a similar way to Lewis vs Grant. Grant was the very green fighter that was supposed to be the next big thing. The fact he didn’t come to much has been mainly attributed to Lewis and not the possibility he might have always been crap. Usyk beats up Outama, that will boost Usyk no matter what Moses does after.

Kaybel needs to beat Parker in style before he is worthy.

Good performance from Usyk, He shook Dubois very early in round one with a solid jab and a couple of stiff shots, and that set the fight up. Very similar to Joshua aginst Dubois, only this time Dubois was on the receiving end.
