What is next for Dubois

Can he bounce back from this loss? He is at his very prime.

Joshua rematch; the battle of Usyk's leftovers, then Joseph Parker after that. :D

He's still young for a heavyweight and there are plenty of good fights to put him in. It helps that he's only faced three top 15 names so he can face any of the others without anyone complaining. However, knowing Frank, we'll see Dubois vs Adeleye, Joyce or Hysa.

Personally, I'd like to see him against Wardley. I wouldn't mind a comeback fight against someone like Joyce or Whyte first though if it's a quick turnaround.

He’s 27/28. If this fight doesn’t break him, he’s still got his whole career ahead of him.
Off the top of my head, there are at least 10 fights I’d love to see him take in the next few years.

On the other hand, he’s already rich as fornicate and has more money than he could ever spend. Who knows what’s gonna happen?

He'll bounce back I'm sure.

There are a lot of interesting possible fights for him: Wardley, winner of Itauma-Whyte, Okolie, Bakole, rematch with Joshua, Fury, Zhang, Kabayel, Anderson, etc.

And he has a rich and powerful promoter who can make those matchups for him.

I'd be happy to see Dubois against any of the other sluggers in the division.

A rematch with Joyce. A fight with Chisora, Bakole, Ajagba, Zhang, Wilder, hell even Dave Allen I wouldn't object to.

A fight with Parker would be fine too a little later down the line.

Should bounce back comfortably. Personally I would like him to go rack up 3 much easier wins first.

but I’m sure he still has a nice ibf ranking and the way the like to recycle if I am DDD then what’s next for me will be what ever IBF want me to do in order to be top 2 when Usyk retires..

Wouldent shock me if somehow he got a fight with chisora for the vacant title by the end of next year…

If I had to say next fight I would go with Peter Kadiru in December…

Okolie is a very winnable fight for Dubois. So is a Joshua rematch. He's not finished, imo.

Man, why are people talking about a rematch with Joshua? Do you just want rematches for everything now?

Yeah, it wasn't a close fight. Maybe if Joshua had some wins the confirm to us that it was a blip rather than his current level I could get behind it.

I think he'd smash them both. I'd probably like his chances outside of anyone who isn't top 5 or so right now.

No shame losing to Usyk. Usyk has beaten everybody that he's fought.
Maybe Dubois can come again, he is certainly not finished.
He could start by avenging his loss to Joyce and then move on.

What's next for him, possibly a shindig two hours before his next fight, although according to Dick Charles, this is normal.

I like both of those suggestions.
Okolie is a similar speed, and I'm sure Joshua still wants a rematch.
As for winnable, I would label them as competitive.
And maybe Daniel coming forward on Okolie might make it less of a snooze and cuddle fest

Agreed.

I can't see Huggy Bear having the physical strength to cuddle Dubois all night.

Daniel will be trying to tear his head off.

No he didn't.
The cringe and desperate sell of the fight.
The party on the day of the fight.
Coming into the stadium late.
Being worse than the first fight.
Gassing after 4 rounds.
Bringing nothing new to the fight.
The sh*t show of his corner.
Not going out on his shield - which in a 4 belt undisputed fight- you should.

Yeah, it could only have been worse if he popped hot, and maybe we have that to look forward to.

Dubois with his great offense and poor defence vs anyone is a good fight.

Dubois v Parker should have happened before the Usyk rematch. Perhaps it could still happen now if DDD doesn't get any better offers than Hrgovic calling him out.

Assuming Hrgovic gets past Adeleye on the Whyte v Itauma undercard in 2 weeks time.

AJ v Joshua needs to happen soon.

There's also Kabayel, Zhang, Wardley and Wilder and looking for scraps.

As for Usyk when he returns, his accountants and Turki Al-Sheikh will decide.

That Aug 16 Itauma v Whyte fight, which might just be a lot more interesting than many are saying, might also just give his excellency the Usyk v Itauma fight he wants the green light for early 2026.

Tony Bellew said, “I just think to throw a kid that young to the wolves at this stage of his career, I don’t get why anyone would want to do that?”

Well, for one very important reason, the money's already there.

Suddenly there's a lot of pressure on Itauma to perform.

Can he do it?

Well im not even sure if DUBOIS took the rematch with JOYCE that he would even win that fight to be honest, For me he DUBOIS probably needs to fight guys like a STEPHAN SHAW, GUIDO VIANELLO or JERMAINE FRANKLIN guys that have good boxing skills and heart that will most definately give him rounds, and are durable but also have a winning mindset, On the ENGLISH front maybe a fight with OKOLIE or WARDLEY.

Please, not Okolie.

Huggy Bear would clutch Dubois like Daniel was his new girlfriend.

The world doesn’t need to see that. :D

How do people see a Hrgovic vs Dubois rematch going? The first was a bit of a slug fest with both able to land at will. Dubois started to get momentum and the cuts Hrgovic had were pretty bad. The Adeleye fight has shown how easy Hrgovic is to open up. I imagine Dubois would be able to do it again but I could see Hrgovic having more of a chance in the fight other than that. It's just whether he could get Dubois out of there or control the fight before the cut starts to weaken his chances.

no need for a rematch of that fight right now, hrgovic started the fight well but was starting to get his ass kicked , didnt even have the juice left to complain about being stopped. so many f@cking rematches these days, how about we limit them to fights that actually warrant them,

of all the guys they could fight, why fight someone theyve already been in there with., how about hrg vs moses. hrg cuts but he has a chin and isn't old. fwank warren has yoka now, maybe he would use him for a dubs comeback

Might be a good chance to take a confidence builder type fight, let the new team and Daniel try some things.
Then move on to the Hrgovic's
