This fight was wanted by a then-Showtime president Jay Larkin after Hatton's win over Tszyu.
Couple of weeks before Hatton's triumph, Corrales produced a stunning performance against Castillo.
Larkin wanted to make Hatton-Corrales at Madison Square Garden. Which likely would've been a slugfest.
Diego was on a pretty good streak at that point (defeated Casa, Freitas and Castillo back-to-back). Hatton was red hot post-Tszyu.
Had Corrales (who was already a bit tight at the weight) moved up and fought Hatton instead of rematching Castillo, how it goes?

Hatton massive ko
Corrales was spent, and always had trouble reading left hooks

I'd pick Hatton by KO around the 6th or 7th round.
