Very tough road back for tszyu, looked awful just standing in the wrong range way to long.

Fortunately he won’t face many 6”6 guys….

Needs big long step back into a tune up or 2 or 3 in Australia… then who can he fight? He is a name… so should be targeting other names that are less than brilliant currently… Zerafa, Thurman, Benn, Danny Garcia….

I hate to say it but I think he may be cooked.
Mentally he doesn’t seem to have recovered from 2024, especially the murdering he took from Murtazaliev.
In between rounds he looked like a man who did not want to be in there, and he ultimately bailed out.
He’s made good money so he needs to very carefully consider his next move, he doesn’t need to be a stepping stone fighter.
Those names you mentioned all have potential of knocking him out too.

I like him as a fighter (and picked him to win Saturday) but because of his name he's been super hyped and it's always really, really hard to live up to expectations when you're the son of a former boxing star. A year ago I would have said he could successfully move up to the much weaker middleweight division, but not sure where he goes at this point.

Cracking fight albeit mostly one sided, it's crazy to see how Fundora had completely 180'd his style, makes the most of his freakishly long leavers but still throws hard crisp combos, Tszyu brave but struggled to breach the gap, dropped by a straight left in the 1st, he was having more success just before the end but he'd took a bit of a beating before and his haymakers were bouncing off Fundora, Fundora output was impressive, didn't give Tszyu much to work off, the ending after 7 was a bit of a shocker but Tszyu was clearly spent

Could the Fundora build be the future of "weight class" boxing?

Super tall... and forever skipping "leg day" ?

Imagine that..

6'0" Featherweights
6'6" Super Welterweights..
7'0" Light Heavyweights..

I think that body type is pretty exceptionally rare. You have a handful of guys throughout Boxing history that made it far with a strangely tall build for their weight class, but most people don't have a skin and bones muscular frame like that.

Tommy Hearns at Welterweight, Diego Corrales at 130, Zolani Tete at Bantamweight were some of the exceptionally tall, lanky guys I recall in the lower weight classes, but they're few and far between.

I think a really Tall guy who is that freakishly skinny is about as common as a Fat guy who has good stamina.

Fundora the Towering Inferno was just simply Way Too Much.

Tim was almost finding a home with those left hooks.

Fundora proved to be too elusive to get cracked with more than 1 punch at a time and too durable to be wobbled or even stunned by Tim's offensive attempts.

Tim would sometimes land that left hook but Towering Inferno Fundora just seemed to brush it off like they were mere Love Taps.

Poor Tim. First, brutally beatdown by Murtalaziev, and now just simply overwhelmed by the 6'6 JrMW Giant, Fundora.

I have my serious doubts if Tim will be able to gather the ambition to want to Box anymore.
Maybe he should seriously consider an acting carear.
"John Duddy", who went 29-2 as a decent clubfighter type, actually went that route, shortly after a brief stint as a boxing analyst.

Tims an easy guy to like , he carrys himself well seems polite , he's been managed quite well in regards to making lots of money dispite his talents not being top class for want of a better word , but now s the time to pack it in, if he fights sub parr guys in Australia he's just taking the piss and gouging money out of the loyal Aussie fans , when he steps up its gonna keep happenning he just is'nt world class level , simple has that , , technicly Fundora run rings around him , you cant say Tim did'nt know what to do its just that Fundora did'nt allow him to do anything except swing for the gates . Jeez even a basic thing like tims jab was so wrong against a southpaw like Fundora , he twisted his palm down which quite often turned his shoulder and put his head in direct line of Fundoras left hand , Just a basic basic mistake

He should now Take his money go live a nice life , and save his braincells , because at the higher level he's just gonna get hurt

Fundora judged the distance perfectly, jabbed Tszyu all night.
Well worthy of the win.
