What an exciting fighter he was in his pomp. My introduction to him was the beatdown of Leon Spinks, I then tried to see him as often as I could. What a guy. RIP

Has anyone ever not been entertained by his efforts in the ring?
He gave us excitement and lived up to the name Camden Buzzsaw.

Another guy with limited or no amateur experience, comes out of prison and becomes a great fighter. Moreover he was short stature for the division and had a terrific jab. He showed what could be accomplished with guts and determination along with a singular dedication.
His fight with Evander at cruiser was one of the best fights I’ve ever seen. Grueling war

Another legend and hall of famer is gone but never forgotten. A very sad year for boxing with those legends and hall of famers were part of the boxing ages in the afterlife. First, George Foreman, then "The Bodysnatcher" Mike McCallum and Nino Benvenuti. Now the Camden Buzzsaw whom I admired him as one of the great little men who fought and won at both light heavyweight and cruiserweight title and he even fought at heavyweight despite he stood at 5'6 1/2". Qawi fought the likes of Matthew Saad Muhammad, Michael Spinks, Evander Holyfield and as I mentioned earlier George Foreman.

The Camden Buzzsaw was gone, but never forgotten.
