This is 10 rounds???
Not that it will go the distance but it does show the ridiculousness of it being a PPV fight.

10 rounds because Itauma is blowing after 2 rounds. Never gone over 6 rounds. Takes big gulps of air fighting cans.

What makes you say that? He looks brilliant, won evey amateur fight he had (I belive) the majority by KO, world champs have said he gave them hell in sparring when he was a child still st school and above all else he really seems to have his head screwed on.
Who has he fought, nobody but cans so far, some he can't put away straight away after landing his bombs, defence isn't watertight, open to the counter etc. Saying that, his handspeed is good and head movement quite good but have a nasty feeling he's another Anderson hypejob. That's why I say stick him in with Wardley and we'll get a better indication of where he's at (if he gets past old man Whyte). Too many have been christened "The next Mike Tyson" and been found wanting...

Yeah.

I mean he may not end up being all that obviously, but he's a top prospect right now.
If he IS a hypejob then Whyte will probably show us that.
And Wardley will only be another 2-3 wins away if he's not.

Wonder how many PPV buys this does ? I won't be paying for sure. Has to be one of the worst value PPV ever , would have been a nice Saturday card at a stadium on normal DAZN but not PPV worthy

I’ll be listening to this one on the radio, definitely not worth buying. Boxing fans being ripped off as usual.

I bought the PPV. Ball vs Goodman and Hrgovic vs Adeleye are interesting matchups. It would be better if they had another good matchup on the card, but it is what it is.

I think Itauma will easily KO Whyte, who hasn't had a good win since 2018.

But Whyte is the right opponent for Itauma at this stage in his career, since he's only age 20.

It’s pretty good card, not bad for a PPV when you compare it to others -an exciting British world champion in a tough fight, and the guy who gave him a hell of a fight, and will probably be a world champion himself, also in a tough fight, ray the savage Ford - the British heavyweight champion a big underdog in a fight with one of the top boys at heavy - and then the main event, which yep it could be over pretty quickly, but it’ll be electric when they both get in the ring that’s for sure. Great pretender or contender, we just might find out

Like I say, could be a dangerous one because he looked a bit too overconfident last time out, not too worried about the bombs coming his way

Buy the PPV and get a month sub free. But .. what’s even scheduled on DAZN in the next month.

The speed of hand and foot from Itauma, coupled with the apparent vulnerability of Whyte, seem to make this a very forgone conclusion for most, myself included.

But if Dillian ends up being a crafty old nightmare for Itauma and takes him into deep waters, it’ll seem so foreseeable in hindsight. Lots still to prove for Moses.

Whyte looks in good shape and I reckon he knows he needs this, think he'll box smart early on and drag Moses out into the deep waters and drown him for a late stoppage.

He better know he needs this since the whole promotion centers around Itauma, and they bring up Whyte as an afterthought like he's just a guaranteed loser.

If he doesn't win this, he's just a stepping stone.

The weigh in is a bit late? Is it one of those ceremonial things? Not that it matters with heavies but weigh ins are important to see the shape

When the fight was first announced, I immediately thought Itauma inside two rounds.
Then I watched Whyte vs Tetteh, saw the open workouts, watched Itauma's greatest hits, saw Whyte's weight loss and ozempic face.
And haven't changed my mind at all
Itauma inside two.
