Whyte looks in good shape.

I still think whytes career has been one of the most flattering ever and that he really was always a levle bellow what he achieved.

I also think at 37 after failed drugs tests and ko losses he is likely 6 ish years past his best.

Hope he has enough left to give Moses a decent little test because a Moses round 1 ko won’t tell us anything and we will just say whytes a shadow of himself…

As a plodding, poorly balanced athlete I’m not sure what losing significant weight will achieve. I doubt it will make him much quicker at his age.
His previous condition wasn’t great and maybe his stamina and general work rate could improve…
There’s lots of boxers lost weight and it didn’t deliver any improvement. Ali was an obvious one, Joe Joyce etc
It’s an interesting fight purely because Itauma hasn’t really fought at even fringe World Title level yet….

Polls open, if anyone has a change of prediction..

When the fight was first announced, I immediately thought Itauma inside two rounds.
Then I watched Whyte vs Tetteh, saw the open workouts, watched Itauma's greatest hits, saw Whyte's weight loss and ozempic face.
And haven't changed my mind at all
Itauma inside two.

Whyte loses and he becomes Danny Williams in the new British scene Merry Go Around with Skelton (Joyce), Sprott (Abel eye)and Dave Allen.

Shame we don't have a tv contract for the British Heavyweight Fight League.

I'm more concerned that he's with Ben Davison. Davison fighters are always so poor defensively.

Like I say, could be a dangerous one because he looked a bit too overconfident last time out, not too worried about the bombs coming his way

The speed of hand and foot from Itauma, coupled with the apparent vulnerability of Whyte, seem to make this a very forgone conclusion for most, myself included.

But if Dillian ends up being a crafty old nightmare for Itauma and takes him into deep waters, it’ll seem so foreseeable in hindsight. Lots still to prove for Moses.

Yeah and who really knows? Whyte could be supersonic for one more night, juiced up
having taken the perfectly timed dose out in Portugal, God help us all.
