Mike Tyson vs Joe Mesi (2003)

A fight that was under preliminary discussions back in 2003, but didn't come to fruition.

There were talks about staging it in Buffalo, NY.

Mesi vs Tyson from the Ettiene bout.

This would've been very interesting. Mesi never really panned out, but Tyson was pretty much at the end of the line here. Tyson still had it in him at this point to be real quick, and real dangerous up until Round 3 or 4. Mesi never showed particularly good defense even against much lesser talents than Mike Tyson even the Tyson of 2003.

I can't really see Joe making it outta them first 4 rounds to get the chance to give Mike a fight. If he's still there after 4 though. There's a good chance Mike quits somewhere along the way.

Tyson even he wasn't the Tyson whom most opponents fear would make Mesi quit after 3 rounds after taking vicious bombs from Tyson off the ring or ropes.
