Canelo vs Calzaghe

I'd favor Calzaghe. Canelo would be trying to slow his movement with body shots, and would probably succeed with that to an extent, but i think most rounds he'd be getting outworked and outlanded by Calzaghe's quick hands. Calzaghe would know better than to stand and trade with Canelo long so he'd have to be running Joe down all night.

I could see Canelo possibly knocking Calzaghe down, but even if he does Calzaghe gets up and boxes his way to a Unanimous decision

if it's in Vegas then Canelo typically is going to get the benefit of the doubt, but Calzaghe got the decision in a good fight with Hopkins there. It's an interesting matchup no matter where it is. I'd go with Calzaghe something like 115-113 or 116-112. A closer to his prime Roy Jones and Hearns may be the only super middleweights I'd definitely favor over Calzaghe.

Canelo fights in spurts, calazaghe never stopped. Unless canelo could hurt him calzaghe wins
