Hi,

Does anyone know the name of the opponent Haye was meant to box in the finals of the Arena Cup in Pula, Croatia, May 5th 2001? He won by walkover but I don't have the opponents name. Does anyone from Croatia happen to know?

Says he beat Marko Pecovnik of Slovakia by stoppage in the 1st in the final.

On the record I have that fight down as being the semi finals and the final was a walkover. On the website you sent the link for, they don't have the date written so is possible they made a mistake.

I’ve noticed with some of those older amateur tournaments the details can vary depending on the source. Could be the site has the final listed wrong .
