We might as well have a topic about this. We are fairly old school and this isn't usually our cup of tea but we might as well have a thread as it's boxing related. What got me interested was watching seconds out videos and realising I haven't seen Danny Flexen in quite some time. Is the chap still doing interviews. I have also always wondered about James Helder. Not that he was a great interviewer but he fell off the map.
So who do you like/dislike? I have to say I'm not a big fan of that GAD guy.
Again, I know some chaps will find this topic cringe, and I also do, but as it's a large part of boxing these days we should have a topic about it.

Personaly i find most of them just arse lickers after a free ticket . Bit of internet fame and a few hits . But what i really do not like is the likes of Gad being interviewed like there the star . Whats more they think it really is about them . Watched that prick on one interview claim he was the reason Fishers last fight sold tickets

It’s not the same it used to be say pre Covid.
It peaked around the time British boxing was in a boom. Between 2014-2018.
A time we had around 12 world champions.
Promoters and boxers were buzzing. Was exciting times.

James Helder got sent down didn’t he? And alluded to getting ripped off by Kugan but who knows. This was when Kugan was cheerleading MTK.
I’ve not seen Flexen on Seconds Out for ages. He’s one of the few who is a proper journalist.
I like the Boxing Now channel, very down to earth for me.
Stomping Ground is middle class kids playing.
Boxing Social is so so but at least Tebbutt isn’t involved.
Umar’s channel is just him asking FW if he watched Arsenal last week.

Forgot to say Boxing King Media I like as there’s plenty of interviews in Yorkshire with the likes of Ingke, Rhodes etc.
Re: Boxing Interviewers/Youtube Channels
I decided to bail out of the sport when IFL turned up with fast Eddie. Myself and a couple of other serious journeys were starting to produce a seriously impartial boxing outlet. But when IFL turned up and we started getting some pushback/interference from our owner, we just knew it was time to go.coneye wrote: ↑27 Aug 2025, 18:53 Personaly i find most of them just arse lickers after a free ticket . GAD has delusions of grandeur to the point where it almost seems like he has narcissistic personality disorder. Young rock stars and Hollywood actors can get away with wearing sunglasses indoors. For portly, late middle aged journalists it’s a bad look. A shirt unbuttoned to the navel, like some hopelessly out of date embarrassing uncle, is also not the most sensible way to present oneself when discussing serious matters.coneye wrote: ↑27 Aug 2025, 18:53 Personaly i find most of them just arse lickers after a free ticket .
