This is going to be the fight of the night. I think Goodman will win this one on points.
Nice one Keith, just what I was looking for.
Yeah why do so few posters go for a Goodman win?
The poll makes it out to be a complete mismatch. Surely Goodman has a better chance??
Usually these polls are a very good reflection of fight odds as the posters here are very knowledgable. But surely Goodman has a better chance than 7%!?!?
Well i for one was COMPLETLY WRONG , especielly has i've watched Sam Goodman since his ameteur days , i've always known he can box , also known he's got a great chin , so i suppose i should of gave him a better chance , but in all honesty i just thought Ball would be too strong and hit too hard , thought he would steamroll Sam
But i was wrong , it was a cracking fight , the scores were up the wall but there were so many really hard to judge rnds , i suppose it was always obvious , home town boy , defending his title would 90% of the time be awarded a real close or even rnd , hence the big margins ,
But for me a thought draw , Ball pressure , big bombs landed a few missed a lot , or Sam slick skills , fast combo's good feet , landed a few missed a lot both fellas in there own way shown good defence and blocked or slipped most punches , both fellas shown real good offensive skills , , i'm sure some of the judges picked the winner of a round based on the color of shorts and who had the best haircut , do you like hair or shaved head , it was a cracker Ball will get better from it and Sam may hopefully get some money fights out of it . Great effort from both lads , if i had any critism it would only be a small one i think the Aussie corner should of calmed down a bit , told sam to stop banging with him and box more , try to make him look silly with the feet , taht would frustrate Ball more banging with him played into his hands .
PS keep both away from the monster
