Steffy only serving 40 % of sentence + knock of remand he’ll be out in 3 1/2 years
No comeback with the pro game & will probably lose all his assets now .

Had he had his teef done in Turkey and took regular holidays to Dubai as well? Pretty much a prerequisite for all low to mid level dealers.

I think so, I think they give you a longer sentence if you have not had massive new gnashers.

I think we can all agree that sex offenders receive extremely lenient sentences disproportionate to the harm they cause.

As for the length of sentences drug dealers should receive, I have no idea. I do not think the market for their wares is ever going to decline, and the war on drugs is ever going to have any chance of being 'won'. I have lost half siblings and lots of cousins to addiction. The dealers never put the drug in their arm or nose, but are clearly part of the problem. It a very sad state of affairs for all parties.

That’s the trouble, I know drugs are an emotive subject for many, but it’s totally obvious that the ‘war on drugs’ has utterly failed and been a huge waste of time and money. Personally would much rather they were legalised in a regulated manner; at least it would take them out of criminals hands and people wouldn’t risk ingesting god knows what. I still wouldn’t take them anyway (ok well, maybe a pill on my birthday as a treat ).

Playing devils advocate I know sentencing if often a topic of debate and often for good reason but on the flip side it still affects these people’s lives after they leave prison. Bull will likely lose his home and assets, he will have a criminal record that will affect his ability to get a “normal”’ job, his boxing career is likely over too. Maybe even lose friends and family too. I know some will play the worlds smallest violin but I guess my point is jail time will probably be the easiest bit, it’s rebuilding his life afterwards that will be hard. That’s why so many people end up on the constant cycle of jail, freedom, more crime and back to jail. Ultimately I have no sympathy.

this is pretty much my view entirely mate. I'm 41 now, the prospect of taking anything other than wine is zero for me these days, but lots of people take them. I fully appreciate the level of harm they cause but they are never ever going to be not taken so I'd much rather regulate and reduce harm. And I'm not naive I don't think Pfizer are nicer than a dealer but there would at least be regulation.

I don't think you are playing devis advocate I think you are making a very fair point mate. I found a cousin who had gone over when I was 14 and had been dead 2 weeks. So can understand why people are of the 'kill the dealers' view. But his dealer was an addict shotting on a low level to pay for his own habit, hardly Pablo. And even the people higher up are not monsters like paedophiles etc. It is all just a very shit situation. I don't know what the solution is either. But I think demonising (and I do this, and change my mind a lot so don't listen to me) the purveyors at this level is not going to solve anything.

Yeah I don’t know what the answer is, maybe legalise drugs and have some control over it. Alcohol causes more issues than drugs with addiction, crime and the impact on the NHS etc yet that is perfectly legal. But of course the government make millions in tax along with cigarettes so they pick and choose what “drug” is ok.

really good mate. Had a prostatectomy on 12 August, and mine is not curable but is treatable. It has spread, so I am focusing on getting as healthy as possible. I was 19 stone 2 the day of my operation. I am 16 stone 13 today. Eating very little and getting my weight down, I used to do weight cuts for strongman so doing that now, need to get to 14 stone to be as light as possible asap and I will do. I am going to make sure I last as long as possible mate.

I've never understood what gives the government the right to determine what you put in your own body.

Surely alcohol is worse than a bit of smoke or sniff?

I guess it’s levels, obviously some drugs are highly addictive and cause a lot of major issues if you get hooked. But yeah long term alcohol use isn’t great either and hospitals more likely full of people with problems linked to drinking than people taking drugs.

He's a silly laddie is Steffy, career was at an all time high, he was one of the most popular trainers in the country but he's fcked it for what?

Coke is like weed as far as I'm concerned, sure some get too hung up on it like alcohol but most can use it recreationally, i seldom take it these days because it's overrated and I'm 40 but I've got good mates who sell it so I'm gonna be the last to just Steffy's morals

Heroin and crack on the other hand ruin lives so the book should be chucked at them, maybe if dealers werent making as much money off coke it'd be treated like weed

Nothing to do with levels, Alcohol is taxed to high heaven so it’s legal. Take away drink and crime rate falls greatly all these people saying drug dealers are scum need to get a reality check
