Leonard would box rings around him again, winning every round on the way to a 120-108.

I'm waiting on the mythical 5th fight.
That's when the real Duran will show up

And Duran will have been totally screwed over by his dastardly and wicked manager by only having a full length training camp to prepare

Depends.
How much time before the fight takes place will Duran know about the fight? Will he not know until weeks after the general public, (and won't be able to train much) like the 2nd Leonard fight?

Ya know in all seriousness when I think about this match I think in 1997 the pendulum may have actually swung back Duran's way at this time.

Owed largely to the fact that Leonard would've been dealing with 6 years of ring rust while Duran had been active, and also the fact that Leonard's style relied heavily on his speed and quick movement. That shit was gone by 1997, and he probably wouldn't have had much of a speed advantage over Duran at this point, if he had one at all. Plus Duran would've been better conditioned and better prepared.

I think Duran beats Leonard in 1997. Duran did manage a win over Camacho after Camacho had beaten Leonard if I'm not mistaken.

Duran never beat Camacho but their first bout was very close. An Australian promoter actually contacted Duran's promoter- Mike Acri - in late 1996 about a potential 4th bout but, of course, it never took place.

Yeah I had the wrong Duran there. I remembered that Camacho had lost to a Duran, just forgot which one
