The way Tyson looked against Paul forces me to believe Floyd would decision him if it's scored.

More power to em if it makes a lot of money for an easy nights work. I know I'd personally have about the same level of interest in watching paint dry or grass grow as I would in watching this nonsense.

I just thought of something that I hadn't even considered about this. It wouldn't make the event itself any better, but it at least would justify the reason for it.

Floyd may be using an event of this type as an excuse to get himself back into ring shape which I imagine he probably wasn't too too far off to begin with.

Why would he be doing that?

Because I think it's quite possible that if Manny Pacquiao makes history, and becomes the oldest Welterweight Champion ever, and therefore makes the debate of "Who's Greater Floyd or Manny?" that much tighter, it may be enough of a bruise to Floyd's ego that he feels the need to come back for a rematch to set the record straight.

Who knows I may be wrong, but I wouldn't doubt if the idea doesn't at least enter his mind.

It makes him millions of dollars to play fight. How couldn't it make anybody happy? If people wanna pay him for fake fights, he may as well milk that cow for all it's worth.

Interesting take, but would he really risk fighting a younger, more active Pacquiao when he finished his career over a decade ago, is almost 50 years old, and already has an official win against Pacquiao on his record?

Also, 50 is a nice, even number. It's not the strongest argument against the fight, but it's something to consider
