Examples of fights stopped far too late in a Brit ring?

Post by TheLeprechaun »

Britain is known for "British stoppages" these days where the ref jumps in too fast. It made me think of fights where the ref was too late. I thought Alex Arthur should have been stopped before the final kd against Gomez.

Enzo shouldn't have been allowed to go on after the first knockdown against Frenkel.

Loads of examples where the British fighter was given way more opportunity than he rightfully should have been. Two that stick out immediately are Khan-Prescott and Price-Povetkin, both should have been stopped after the first knockdown and led to brutal ko’s due to the home advantage.

The home fighter certainly gets every opportunity, Josh Warrington will probably suffer in later life with the opportunities he had
