Salvador Sanchez

Post by Kayo25 »

Salvador Sanchez was one of the toughest featherweights I ever saw. I believe that if his career hadn't been cut short by his untimely death, he'd be an all time great. He was a flawless stand-up boxer/puncher with an iron chin and will to match. Just my $.02. Any thoughts???

He is already an all time great, i heard that many experts have said that if he wouldn't have died so young he may have gone on to become greater than Ali, some may not agree but thats what i heard.

He was quite a fighter indeed.
little Red was an excellent fighter when
Sanchez beat him.
There was some talk about sanchez moving up
to fight Alexis Arguello just before he died.
He might have been to small for Alexis, but he
would not have been intimidated that is for sure.

IMO i think Sanchez would have out boxed Arguello and take a UD, if Olivares who was not known for his mobilty gave Arguello trouble then Sanchez would have no problem giving him angles, Arguello's only chance would be to KO sanchez and i dont see tha happening.
