Round-by-Round: Lewis Crocker vs. Paddy Donovan II | DAZN - 13 September 2025
Re: Round-by-Round: Lewis Crocker vs. Paddy Donovan II | DAZN - 13 September 2025
Crocker needed to bring a mix of the old and the new, not just the new.

Re: Round-by-Round: Lewis Crocker vs. Paddy Donovan II | DAZN - 13 September 2025
I have Crocker edging that thanks to 2 KDs, landed the better shots in other rounds too, Paddy landed more tippy tippy shots but didn’t outbox him enough to make up for the KDs
Re: Round-by-Round: Lewis Crocker vs. Paddy Donovan II | DAZN - 13 September 2025
Think Crock got that - close, but 2KDs is enough to nick it surely....
Re: Round-by-Round: Lewis Crocker vs. Paddy Donovan II | DAZN - 13 September 2025
Croc maybe won 3 rounds.
Abject performance really, had Donovan in queer Street with the second knock down.
Why didn't he go for it?
Donovan not keeping the belt against the proper top boys.

Buncey and Josh Taylor have Crocker edging it.

Don't agree with that, maybe took lots on the gloves, but had so much less output.

They trying to mask it with the very right scorecards.

I was at the world champs in Liverpool, but watched it from the second on my phone in the taxi home. How did youse score the first? I had it a it around even, with Paddy winning every round he didn’t get dropped, except one around the 6th or 7th.
What we saying team?

Not a great fight but if anyone won that I'd edge it to Paddy
Re: Round-by-Round: Lewis Crocker vs. Paddy Donovan II | DAZN - 13 September 2025
I didn't score that but felt like Paddy won 8 rounds, maybe 9.

i like croc, but gonna need to match him with kid gloves to keep that title
its unfortunate to me how much he's just become a walk ahead slugger these days, winging haymakers. ironic to say that when hes just won a major title, but he used to box and move and counter so wonderfully.

Cash out fight with Benn makes the most sense.
Hope he makes a few quid while it lasts.

eddie gottaa be dripping, benn would have a good chance for sure to beat crock, eddie is absolutely balls deep on benn and that would be huge for him
Re: Round-by-Round: Lewis Crocker vs. Paddy Donovan II | DAZN - 13 September 2025
Well he showed something different tonight - didn't think he had it in him to win, let alone like that.
Gotta be a trilogy - makes sense, makes money and both vulnerable to losing the belt to anyone else.

I didn’t score the fight so can’t bleat about how others did.
Disappointing spectacle overall though. Donovan didn’t show a great deal of adaptability. Crocker came in with a different gameplan and was never brought under control.

Easy way for Benn to challenge for a world titleCaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑13 Sep 2025, 18:27Eddie was talking in the week about the winner facing Benn despite him doing absolutely nothing to deserve a shot at any kind of title let alone a world belt
