If martinez could have turned him off the ropes would have won.

Fun fight

A split draw. And one of the few times I agree with the judges on a draw.

Martinez finished strong, but Mbilli swept the first half of the fight in my book. Can't really see a draw, and the card that had Martinez by 4 rounds was crazy.

this is the lead in to the main event? kinda surprised

mbili-martinez was two unbeaten olympian sluggers and predcitably woulda been a lot more entertainign than this

no idea, maybe to accomodate the other fights so things dont run as long?

they should made it 12 rounds and cut something else if that was the case

but not sure

This could have something to do with the fact that there were a couple of deaths in Japan. They reduced the rounds for the OPBF title (which is part of the WBC) from 12 to 10. Maybe they want to do the same for interim titles. Just my guess.

Also, Walsh is Dana's lover boy. That's likely the reason why two prospects are in the co-main event.

Walsh v Vargas Jr as a snoozer. But Walsh won easily. Canelo V Crawford will be better. I have Crawford by TKO in 8.

Crawford looked thick and strong. Cinnamon is just something you put on a dessert.

Rooting for Bud.

However, Canelo cruising to a relatively comfortable UD once Crawford goes into his shell is seemingly the most likely scenario to me. That is, if Bud's chin holds up.
