Taylor outside Germany. Ottke in Germany.

Pretty much the same answer in all of Ottke’s matchups. He could have fought until he was 50 in Germany and never lost a decision but he was beatable, with his style and skillset, away from friendly judges
Taylor would have been too fast for him outside of Germany and Ottke didn’t hit hard enough to dent Taylor’s chin. Not 100% sure Taylor wouldn’t have won by TKO (in Germany the ref would have kept Taylor
from hitting Ottke too hard, like they did vs Robin Reid)

I'd have to favor Jermain Taylor probably in a close decision. As everyone says he'd likely lose the decision in Germany. He'd win anywhere else

Ottke takes a decision in Germany and Taylor takes a decision somewhere in the U.S.

Totally. Has nothing to do with where he fought and crooked refs and judges

Just watched that today. At one point Reid is warned for hitting in the back of the head because of a clean punch to the ear.

At another point Reid lands a clean punch to Ottke's jaw and the referee says "Stop!" Like he's going to give a warning, but then seems to realize there was nothing even close to an infraction for him to warn about, so he just tells them to continue.

Reid let the fact that the referee was so blatantly against him break him mentally in that fight. He just kinda gave up midway through.
