Can you image any other boxer fighting back in the 1970's fighting with that much 'intensity" for 15 rounds ?

If Bruce Lee were a boxer he definitely wouldn't have made nearly as big an impact on the world as he has.

I think he either would've been a Featherweight or Bantamweight if he was under 21, maybe eventually growing into a 130 pounder.

I think he was much heavier than that ranging from 135 to 148.

He’d won a few fights against novices than get matched with a guy like Jimmy Heiar or Tury Pineda. Guys who were thought of as journeymen but always fought tough and were solid pros.
They’d beat Lee and that experiment would get shelved. Back to the movies…

Kiiiiaaaaaa's !!!! (thats the "Chi" being channeled I believe)
whenever he threw a punch ?
( the rason I'm arsking I remember when a ref threathned to deduct
points while some boxers were doin' some 'trash talking" in the ring.

Yes the Kiai is a channeling of energy.
Might be tough to do with a mouthpiece in.
Plus a good fighter is gonna time him opening his mouth to scream and it would be left hook to an open yap.
Interesting question though.

Imagine if Alexis Arguello aka "the Thin Man" had been 4 x as fast,4 x the power and 4 x as vicious in the ring.
That woud've been how Bruce Lee would have been in the ring probaly.

I always figured a good strategy for guys that do that kinda thing. Ya know make a noise every time they throw a punch is to keep doing that for a few rounds, and then throw a punch without making a sound. Or make a sound without throwing a punch, and then throw a punch half a beat later.

Seems like something that could actually be effective as a psych move if you mixed it up some. Like a Psychological faint if you will.

Yes, it would definitely throw off a guys rhythm and timing.

If Bruce Lee had become a pro boxer, he may have fought in a manner similiar to this dude,
(dunno about being southpaw) except Bruce Lee would have been FASTER-HARDER-MORE ACCURATE-STRONGER & of course would have fought much more VICTIOUSLY"

There's currently a boxer named Brandun Lee. Is it possible that Bruce's son Brandon faked his death, and had a child that he named after himself while misspelling his own name when doing it? Discuss
