Pretty much every fight for the last 15 years. Until recently and I have been put on a diet.
For the Crawford fight I ate a tossed salad and water with lemon. It made me grouchy by the end of the card

For big fights, mainly just have snacks like tortilla chips with spicy dip / twiglets / popcorn, stuff like that. Lots of beer or whisky alongside, naturally.

Big fights, due to time differences, are at odd times for me.
British fights - early Sunday morning
Saudis - mid Sunday morning
America - early Sunday afternoon

Over time, a longer time than you would initially imagine, I've realized that cracking a beer is a very bad idea.
So besides toast and a coffee, I've had full English cook ups done during the chick fights- bacon, eggs, fried tomatoes and mushrooms if I've got them.
Chips and dip (sweet chili or garlic and onion) for the Saudi and American cards.

I used to be the same. When Haye/Hatton/Jamie Moore and some others fought I’d be really nervous beforehand. Strange isn’t it!

They were the guys that I followed closely when I started to get really into the sport.

Nowadays I’m fine.

So I’ve got a buddy and depending on what our respective families have planned, we try and rotate who hosts for the big fights.

If we have it at mine it’s usually Chinese. However the place I like doesn’t deliver so depending on timings we may go for fish and chips or a Turkish grill which both deliver.

At my friends it’s a rotation of chicken wings with fries or Chinese.

We probably get together every 2 months.

I was real gutted when Haye lost to Thompson. It’s a bit of a shame there wasn’t a rematch. Perhaps a good thing for Haye given the styles.

Perhaps the most gutted I’ve been though is when Moore lost against Ryan Rhodes. I was watching on tv with my dad and neither of us really swore but I remembered shouting at the tv ‘ahhh…fornicate’ when Moore was floored. Steve Wood sent me a signed poster from the Macklin fight. Had it framed and it’s still in my home office.

Known Joe since he was a baby as his Pa owned our gym. He is going far in BKFC. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea. But too nervous too eat again for me! Dec Spelman on too, my ex father in law used to sponsor him and watched him a lot, once had such a good fight Thomas Hauser wrote in Boxing News it was one of the best fights he had seen.

I don't fancy Degale's chances though, he looks a bit damaged - not said with disrespect.

I thought this would happen. He needs to live the right life. Most of you know my family background, he should not be hanging around any of them. He is a lovely lad but young, he needs protecting from those influences.

It was avoidable this as his talent is beyond this but the outcome was wholly deserved.

And what with my illness meaning I do not care about being honest, BKFC is rife with steroids and HGH and someone is going to get killed. I watched the whole card of BKFC last night. All bar 3 fighters are using steroids.

Time difference dictates for me ,, If its English , i get up early 3 or 4 am watch and enjoy on my own food will be cereal or maybee toast , usual breakfast , and nemerous amounts off cups of coffee , ,, Saudi or American they go into the afternoon , so then it depends where , at my mates he always puts on hotdogs , and beefburgers along with copius amounts of beer ,, I its at my place i always put on a couple of roasts in the webers , 2 webers one for pork roast one for beef , bit of gravy ,so its always hot roast rolls , on the barby i always put on a sausage sizzle , used to be steaks and chops , but at 40 plus dollars a kilo , not any more , IF its a real big fight and theres a good few coming around , always hit the docks and grab 3-4 kilo of fresh prawns , we chip in for them , all swallowed down with copius amounts of beer ,

Wifes unless interested in boxing are told to stay away till after the fights , then it always works out a big day and night , will admit though its not has regular now has it used to be , were all getting older, But you always know if its gonna be a big one , the Maori boys bring there guitars

For the ol Friday night fights on Sky, home cooked steak fajitas with a few spliffs.

These days the fights are on at mad times so usually snacks like Twiglets, bacon rolls etc.

Not twiglets, they’re evil!
