It was sad to see. Huge experience in gloved boxing seems a disadvantage if anything. It's so different they don't have know what to do.

If he's after money surely going down the Jake Paul route or some other youtuber would be better.

Misfits maybe?

But how much do the bigger names in misfits even get paid?

I don't think it's that easy to get a fight with Jake Paul.

Why? I've seen Joe box and lose to a kid his own age and weight who stood and traded. He is very game but the hype, podcasts, his own words etc all seemed a bit too much pressure he was putting on himself. I think people got carried away with Instagram clips and his physique but they didn't know anything about the fighter himself.

Hes done with BKFC

On Sunday morning he confirmed that he had no interest in another bare-knuckle contest, but he regardless appeared to refuse to rule out boxing in a professional ring again.

“Thank you all so much for the support for James,” read the statement released on DeGale’s behalf. “He got the win but came out battered and bruised after a brutal fight with some dirty tactics.

“The Manchester crowd’s energy was incredible and gave him a real lift. BKFC ran a great event and we respect them, but bare-knuckle isn’t for him. Boxing’s discipline and respect will always be his standard.”

I found it quite fun. its interesting watching class boxers looking basically helpless when the rules are altered ever so slightly.

Don’t follow bare knuckle but watched this fight and thought what a load of shite, Degale will regret going and doing that.

Exactly that, didn't know too much about him apart from a couple of cage fights, and a few bits an pieces here and there, could see he wasn;t exactly polished but looked game and thought bkb would be right up his street, he wasn't doing too bad though til he got stopped, he'll have a pop again i should imagine

It’s is right up his street. He came up against the best fighter on that show. He’s 21, Sean’s 34 and been fighting since he was 15. Both would have destroyed Degale and his filthy opponent.
yeah they would beat degale and that floyd handily, that was a shameful turnout that was, degale looked like he'd never had a fight in his life and that floyd was just a mess, terrible, not a bad show other than that

I know Joe and his father, he can do very well if he distances himself from outside influences. I've known him since has was a baby, always a lovely lad. His brother Warren could also do something in the sport.

I won't go into details but the things they put in their bodies are not conducive to long fights - it needs to stop and fighters be told it is to be tested for. Feldman and co are fully aware of it and someone will die if they do not regulate it. It is not a sport until they do, it is an anabolic and growth hormone blood farm.

No hate, I just know
No need for this.

There is zero drug testing in BKB

And with some of the folk fighting, looking at their physique, it's just obvious

MasterG wrote: 27 Sep 2025, 17:32 Dec Spelman made his debut but got knocked out.

Jack Fincham, Love Island winner quit on his stool after getting put down in the first and again in the second. Didn't come out for the 3rd. Was beaten by Aaron Chalmers from Newcastle who was 1-0 before this fight.
Unless I was a lot drunker than I thought, Spelman won, to go 2-0.

He put a Polish lad with amazingly unnatural traps down about five times.

Dec probably looks one of the best suited former boxers for BKB.

Defo some cracking little scraps. Telfer showed improvement and nice tight technique. He’s usually a face first brawler. This group of Scottish BKBers are fighting 5v5 groups in fields with no rules. Penalty kicks allowed. So they well game for this rule set. Joe Lister, if he knuckles down and stops the partying can come again. Takes a bit of power to put a dent in Sean.
Yea the Scots are game as a badger when it comes to this sort of stuff, be interesting to see more of that Weir, and defnitely Lister will come again :bag:

so brutal isn't it, you don't have to wait long for action either. Sokolowski is doing BKB now, I'd like to see him on the BKFC
