Was at the show tonight, some decent fights but lots of empty seats and a poor atmosphere. I was up in the bleachers. Maybe it felt a bit lively down ringside but a disappointing atmosphere for a decent card.

That's a shame as it was a good card. Maybe people have got out of the habit or the fights weren't big enough compared to the names of the past.

It's common everywhere nowadays. Most arenas are only set up for a quarter of there capacity. Dave Allen next week is seen as a great success but will be nowhere near full.

The last Taylor fight had a great atmosphere. Collins v McGregor on the undercard got a massive reception on the night also. I was hoping this one captured the public attention a little more than it did

That jeffers was tailor made for hutchinson. He looked bad against that american last time out, so stepping up to fight a better fighter was a huge ask. Getting clowned and stopped will probably be hard to come back from.

As for Hutchinson, not sure where he goes. He looks great at this level but a step below the top lads.

Some good fights for Willy, I find him enjoyable to watch. I thought Collins lost narrowly

That's what happens when you're buried away on DAZN, if this was on SKY or BT it would have had a lot more publicity

Llorente was jobbed on the cards. He won that fight. It was close, but he won it

I agree, it was close, but for me Llorente did enough, pleased that he retained his title.

He had much the cleaner shots, especially the jabs.

I guess a draw on an away bill tells it's own story. Great fight though

Just watched this one today. Good fight in the Main Event for sure. I'd like to see a rematch of it. I'm surprised they didn't give Collins the decision with the hometown advantage, but it was definitely a fight that's worthy of seeing twice so I'm good with it.

These are the kind of fights that we don’t get very much for because it’s not needed. He could potentially lose the rematch and then what

Cristobal Lorente believes draw with Nathaniel Collins ‘a great result’ and is open to rematch in Glasgow

Cristobal Lorente believes his draw with Nathaniel Collins for the European featherweight title is a great result on away soil.

Lorente traveled to Collins’ backyard to defend his EBU belt with a hope of securing a shot at the WBC featherweight title. It was always going to be a big ask away from home, with Collins full of confidence after wiping out Lee McGregor inside four rounds back in May. Lorente knew the task at hand and although the fight was scored a draw, Lorente seemed the happier of the two with the result.

“Well, I think that when you go out of your country, it’s much more difficult,” Lorente said through a translator. “I think I made a good fight and enough to get the victory. Outside [my country] it’s a great result.”

It was a fight of two halves at Glasgow’s Braehead Arena. Collins built a healthy lead at the halfway stage, with Lorente doing little. Collins seemed to tire down the stretch and Lorente’s workrate was key in picking up the later rounds.

“I started the fight slowly. I put my style on the ring,” the champion added. “After the sixth round, I needed to do more than the first part of the fight because I needed to increase the result in the judges' [eyes].

“That was the plan and the strategy. We started slowly and [made it] difficult [for] Nathaniel Collins in the last part of the fight. But you know, it's a difficult fight and I needed to make an extra effort to make a good result.”

And would Lorente be interested in making another trip to Glasgow to face Collins again?

“Yes, of course. Why not? Who pays?” Lorente said. “I will return here and make the fans stand up again, and for me it's a great year.”
