1st fight I had Canelo by 1 pt, so I was ecstatic over the draw. I score even rounds that fans like you mistakenly think their fighter won.

In the 2nd fight, a fired up Canelo still steaming over his 6 month suspension because of a ghost Nanogram Clen test between a barrage of clean tests that wouldn't put muscles on a gnat, he took Ring Center and knocked Golovkin back every time he entered. After 10 rounds, Canelo went back to his first fight by walking Golovkin into counter right hands.

The 3rd fight was a make up fight between the two where Canelo as a teen was a sparring partner for Golovkin where he got a nice $endoff into retirement, amen... :TU:

Kazakhstan could only send one middleweight from the two brothers. Gennadiy was older by about 15 minutes.

Max apparently stepped aside for Gennadiy. Sacrificing his chances. He stayed home and cared for his family. Their two older brothers Sergey and Vadim died whilst serving in the army.
Man, its such a real pity that such a great potential(GGGs brothers) weren't enough fortunate to have the chance to go on GGGs path. I assume that they were strong-talented men too.

Yeah, unfortunately. The first fight definitely was a win for GGG. The 2nd fight was pretty close, a draw in my view.

In 20 years time most people ain't gonna remember Canelo either. Boxing fans will always be familiar with Golovkin.
Yeah GGG is PEOPLE CHAMP. Boxing fans will remember that Canelo gave away his MW WBC title to GGG, after he fought Cotto at 155 lbs for that belt and then Khan, Liam and a washed up JCCjr. What a fooking farce.

I mean, us here on the board still talk about robberies from the 80’s and 90’s
Castillo vs Mayweather still gets brought up with regularity around here. People remember robberies for sure.

May not the casual sports fan, but Boxing fans certainly do. The casual sports fan couldn't even name you 10 boxers so I wouldn't worry much about their opinion. Their lack of knowledge on Boxing is a gift to the Hardcore fan sometimes because of the opportunity it allows you and your greater knowledge on a niche sport.

BRR is probably an alt of EO. Bottom line is 27 y/o Canelo could not beat a 35 y/o Golovkin and prior to this fight Canelo fought guys like Khan, Liam and Jccjr to bide some time, so that GGG to get a bit older. lol

I don't think there can be any doubt remaining over who was the better fighter of the two at 35.

And if their ages had been reversed at the time of the first fight (back in Sept 2017) ie GGG was 27 and Canelo was 35 and half, then I wouldn't have been surprised if Canelo got stopped.

Perspective can change everything, but none of that will matter to Saul.

Canelo might not have "more money than God" as once allegedly claimed by Eddie Hearn, but he's already banked more than $1billion.

In my opinion, the first and second fights should have been won by GGG. Canelo is a cash cow for boxing and it is hard to win against the cash cow even for the best boxers. The same thing happened to Amanda Serrano against Katie Taylor. Serrano should have won the first two fights and the third should not even count because Serrano was affected by the judging in the first two fights, so she changed her strategy. The judging in boxing is inconsistent. Some judges who have been judging for decades don't know how to judge. It is a big problem and the sanctioning bodies have not corrected it even though the sanctioning bodies have been around for decades and they have judges seminars at all of their yearly conventions.

On the other hand, GGG was lucky that Dmitry Pirog injured his back in 2012, and had to withdraw from their fight (and then retire). If that fight had gone ahead, GGG would have suffered his first loss, and might never have got another shot at any belt.

- Lot's Idjit gruntings is it again? Golovkin was an equal fav of mine as was Canelo. I study boxing while you grunt about it.

Tom Loeffler brilliantly promoted Golovkin to the point he was earning marketing endorsements that eluded TBE TUE Floydy and his crack daddy. Manny and Canelo also have tons of endorsements as well as did Oscar.

He managed to drop Canelo's heavy jockstrap on their stupid feet that damaged them for the 6 months they convinced the Crooked Vegas Commish to suspend Canelo over a few nanograms of Clen accepted as local food contamination found all over the world. This in between multiple clean tests that wouldn't put muscles on a gnat . Canelo returned steaming to beat him up at ring center, but your candyass couldn't handle it then or now, so you still squallin' like a kicked school girl on a men's forum...pitiable but expected :TU:
