Let's say, Hatton moves up to welterweight right after his win over Tszyu instead of pursuing Maussa unification at 140 and fights Judah in late 2005-early 2006 for Judah's Undisputed championship.
Judah was on a solid streak, after stopping Spinks in their rematch for all the belts at 147 and then disposing of Cosme Rivera in a defense of his Undisputed status.
On the heels of his win over Tszyu, Hatton's popularity and demand was at its peak. Given his Lineal status at 140, he could've likely received a straight shot at Judah's belts.
Fight takes place at Madison Square Garden, basically on Judah's territory. Hatton fought there early in his career on the Naseem Hamed's undercard. But this time, he comes to NY with his army of loyal fans.

Hatton stoppage
Zabs conditioning kils him
Zabs conditioning kils him
Re: Zab Judah vs Ricky Hatton
I'd take Hatton to outwork Zab. Zab is more skilled, faster, and probably more powerful than Hatton, but his lack of focus and conditioning is gonna get him beat as it often did.

Re: Zab Judah vs Ricky Hatton
Judah, Ricky wasn't as dangerous at welter.
Re: Zab Judah vs Ricky Hatton
Judah by stoppage at 147. 140 is a different story.
Re: Zab Judah vs Ricky Hatton
Judah by stoppage as well.
