Deonte Brown vs Grimardi Machuca
This Friday on DAZN, think it's at 140, seen Brown(16-0) headline his last fight on DAZN, pitched an 8 round shut out, looked a decent fighter from memory, southpaw pretty sharp, didn't look a puncher despite having 11 KOs but not bad, Machuca is 17-2 with 14 KOs so it's pretty interesting, he's coming off his first 2 losses mind both on points

Of the fights he's won, only one fighter has more than 10 wins - and his record was 25-20-2. Of the other 16 wins, 13 of them had less than 5 wins, many with none.handsofstone wrote: ↑09 Oct 2025, 01:56Taansend wrote: ↑09 Oct 2025, 00:40Have you seen his opponents recordshandsofstone wrote: ↑06 Oct 2025, 17:22 This Friday on DAZN, think it's at 140, seen Brown(16-0) headline his last fight on DAZN, pitched an 8 round shut out, looked a decent fighter from memory, southpaw pretty sharp, didn't look a puncher despite having 11 KOs but not bad, Machuca is 17-2 with 14 KOs so it's pretty interesting, he's coming off his first 2 losses mind both on points![]()
Nah I never noticed tbh, not many winning records no?
Still, that doesn't mean he can't punch. Probably just that he can't box.

Re: Deonte Brown vs Grimardi Machuca
Brown wins via UD, 96-94 twice and a 97-93, I had it 98-92, was half expecting a shut out tbh, I thought I was being generous giving Machuca a couple rounds on account of landing a couple right hands but it was a terrible fight, Brown's slick defensively, quite hard to pin down but offensively he's boring as hell, one dimensional, one paced, was just content to land the southpaw back hand and it when it did land it didn't look particularly hard, he barely jabbed, hooked or threw to the body, just round after round pot shotted away in sparring mode, Machuca was poor, never tried to change things up and put it on Brown, boring fight no doubt Brown won but he's gotta learn to go through the gears and show something different
Re: Deonte Brown vs Grimardi Machuca
Very accurate summary.
