Like my old decent 5 a-side league team getting a shot at PSG..!

Surely, SURELY he couldn’t continue the upset train..

neither beat Usyk. Parker spat his gumshield out at the start and survived. didn't survive at the end

Parker looked spent so no problem with the stoppage from my perspective. Wardley might have laid him out if he was given more time. Excellent fight though.

Moses Itauma needs some media training.

He doesn’t know how to talk.

Often he stops it when the fighter isn't hurt at all
Strange how that works, isn’t it. Imagine some random b-side getting a debatable stoppage victory like that, just doesn’t happen :maybe:

It’s double standards by the refs.

Fury can be looping and dancing around in the ring all wobbly and it’s not stopped.

That final sequence he threw like 3 shots and I don’t think he even landed them clean.

Foster just thought, Yh let me stop this.

My first thought was jeez Howard what are you doing man

But having seen several replays, Parker wasn’t outraged by it was he, just looked mildly disappointed

Watching replays again…

Yes early, but “seen ‘em given”
If it wasn’t Foster we wouldn’t be bitching so much.

Yes Coco - I agree that an A side doesn’t get stopped there.

If you believe Wardley was going to fizzle out and give up the attack then I could well understand the gripe.

Personally I don’t think Parker was getting let off the hook there. He looked pretty much done, and Wardley looked like he could keep on going with bombs.

I've never believed Parker is a puncher yet it seems that they think that if he comes in heavy he becomes one

The last few shots from Wardley were noodle arms. Both guys were shattered. If that fight continues I doubt either of them even hit the canvas.

Atrocious stoppage.

Look at Wardleys arms, there's nothing in any of those shots. He hurt Parker about 40 seconds prior to that then punches himself out.

Wardley had shot his bolt, nothing on those last few punches. He would have had to regroup. Could still have won of course, but the stoppage was total bs.

I saw this result, and im sure many others did as well, from about the 5th round onwards where it was becoming obvious that Parker couldn't get wardley out of there and started to drop his hands every so slightly with each passing round.

Wardley is solid.

Terrible, just terrible

Of course he is tired in the 11th of a big fight, but his hands are up, he is moving his head, obviously away fighters can't give Foster those types of opportunities though.

At points in the fight, they both looked tired, and hurt, by the same token Benn v Eubank should have been stopped.

The undercard was dire, the main event ruined, refund?
