Carl Froch vs Adonis Stevenson (was supposed to happen in 2013)

This fight was actually supposed to happen back in early 2013, when Stevenson was a mandatory for Froch's IBF title at 168.

However, Froch decided to pursue a more lucrative rematch against Mikkel Kessler. Meanwhile, Stevenson received an offer from HBO to move up to LHW and challenge Dawson for Dawson's WBC/Lineal championship (Dawson was supposed to rematch Pascal, but Pascal withdrew and Stevenson filled the void).

In hindsight, Froch vs Stevenson would've been an interesting fight if it would've happened.

These were 2 guys that I consistently underrated while they were active. They both won quite a bit of fights where I wasn't expecting them to pull it off.

I feel like Stevenson would've had the slight edge in Boxing ability, and power. Froch probably has the edge in toughness. I'd favor Stevenson to win a decision here, but I could see either man winning here.
