Really? Don’t you think maybe Filipovic just had a very padded record and was never any good to start with.
I used to work in Belgrade, people still discuss his clash with Haris Radmilovic to this very day.![]()
I hear Boban is making a comeback![]()

Not sure if the figures are true but Paul is getting $30mln and Tyson $15mln. Evidently Tyson is content to have a pro loss on his record to a YouTuber for that amount of money…tigermoth87 wrote: ↑15 Nov 2024, 09:26I can't believe there are so many saps who believe this bollocks. It's all pantomime anyway, the slap was fake, the reactions are all fake. Tyson sounds depressed one minute and completely disinterested the next. Some kid interviewed him this week and his reply was hilarious, he basically said we're all dying and nobody cares. She seemed completely unable to process it.
This is faker than WWE. At least WWE admits it's fake and showmanship. But here we have grown adults believing Paul and Tyson are gonna have an actual fight ... as if it hasnt been agreed beforehand to go easy on each other and drag it out for the full rounds.
It's truly bizarre. My Facebook feed is full of people in their 30s discussing the fight as if Mike Tyson is legitimately gonna KO Paul lol. They'll throw a bunch of fairy taps at each other for 8 rounds with the occasional half decent shot before whoever negotiated the best is declared the winner.
Re: Danny Williams retires
I'm not gonna declare it fake before it starts, but once it starts if they're not legitimately trying to win or hurt their opponent, it'll be obvious to anyone who knows Boxing.tigermoth87 wrote: ↑15 Nov 2024, 09:26I can't believe there are so many saps who believe this bollocks. Jake Paul's career may be a farce, but up to this point his fights have not been "fake" exactly. Not in the sense that they have a pre-determined outcome anyway. They're fakeness comes in the sense that he never gets into the ring without having a distinct advantage over somebody in some sort of way.
Re: Danny Williams retires
YEah it's quite sad really. That is exactly who this is aimed at - people who don't know, didn't see his last few fights, can't see through the pantomime. It's the ADHD generation, it's all silly little clips on social media with zero context. It's a cyber house of cards built on bullshit. I went to see my mate in hospital earlier this evening, massive digital billboard next to the main road with this fight all over it, never seen that before for a boxing match.tigermoth87 wrote: ↑15 Nov 2024, 09:26I can't believe there are so many saps who believe this bollocks. Who wants to get hurt for a guaranteed 20 million?keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑15 Nov 2024, 15:08This. I think there'll be a little bit of clowning, a lot of holding and more words being shouted, than telling blows being landed.

Most of these novelty fights are faked to a high degree. Like McGregor vs Mayweather. Mayweather could have finished that in three rounds if he wanted to. It was basically a sparring session with neither actually trying to win that the saps paid for.gilgamesh wrote: ↑15 Nov 2024, 14:20

Mayweather toyed around with McGregor yes. I think that's a combination of giving the people their money's worth, and just kinda having fun because you know this guy is no threat to you.tigermoth87 wrote: ↑15 Nov 2024, 23:02Most of these novelty fights are faked to a high degree. I just saw a video on Twitter, 52 year old Williams was stopped by former Commonwealth CW Tony Conquest in an unlicensed bout in Colchester last Sunday. Williams stayed on his stool at the end of the 1st round.

Re: Danny Williams retires
He actually looks in good shape.
I haven't got a big problem with him fighting fellas around his own age.
And it was a move around, and pulling out was probably pre planned

Hopefully he doesn’t spar ever…. Just works out… collects a payday as ‘the man who beat Tyson’…. And doesn’t take many shots. It’s still a worrying state of affairs
