Wonder if the judges were docking points for Parker when the ref wasn't doing it

Buatsi won easily. Parker fell to the ground 7 times. Awful comms.

I only had one eye on the fight but every time I looked I didn’t think Parker looked great.

Was he robbed here?

The Talksport Radio team of John Rawlings, Spencer Oliver & Adam Catterall had Parker winning and Gareth Davies had Buatsi winning.

I think a loss for both fighters would have been fair.

I think so, Buatsi did absolutely nothing all fight.
Parker spoiled so much tho, so maybe that played on the judges minds.

99-92 Parker, best I've seen him box probably, I can't believe Buatsi's got that, insane, surely I wasnt swayed that much by comms, Buatsi was atrocious, barely let shots go, too tentative, no urgency, couldn't get his jab off, Parker got away with murder, his holding and spoiling, spent half the fight on his knees but he got away with it and done a great job of not allowing Buatsi get into a rhythm, he just lunged in and out, single shots, awkward, a lot of his work was blocked and parried but he still landed enough and more eye catching, it's was a sh1t fight let's be honest, Parker came to disrupt Buatsi and did for me, that's a robbery in my book

Be interested to know what rounds as he did literally nothing.

Fat Dan on X:
We go to the cards in #BuatsiParker: 95-95, 96-94 x 2 for the winner by majority decision Joshua Buatsi. That is fornicating grotesque. fornicate that. I'm done. #boxing

Don McRae on X:
How can anyone wonder why so many of us are disillusioned with boxing? That's such a poor decision. Buatsi was so fortunate and looked a shadow of the fighter he once promised to be. The Callum Smith fight took chunks out of him. So hard for Parker who was disciplined and strong

I'm no expert, but wouldn't Buatsi have needed to land more than three punches per round to win.

I think you're right Keefy, but 3 punches per round is stretching it a bit.

Parker deserved to lose. Falling down tactic was pathetic.

I was quite impressed with Parker's early footwork, but when he tired in the back half he landed as many clean shots on the canvas as Buatsi. Lucky not to lose a point.

I feel he won, but not by much. I think the cards in reverse would've been fine.

Buatsi seemed ill and frustrated his body wasn't doing what he willed it to. Parker's camp will say that's because Zach controlled him, but we've seen him way more energised than that. I guess they're right and he just got Barneyed.

That was the worst robbery I've seen in years. Parker won virtually every round.

Watched this morning without knowing the result. Funny, I thought Buatsi clearly lost but it reminded me a bit of Froch-Dirrell, where Dirrell was on his bike all fight and kept on falling over, and I remembered in my early, more casual days, scoring the fight to Froch. Just absentmindedly thought about it while waiting for the decision.

Buatsi looked very out of sorts in the corner between rounds: frustrated, irritated. It looked like he threw his gloves at Hunter, too. Didn’t look a happy team, and they were all downcast like they knew they’d lost.

The thing is, everyone loses with a decision like that. Parker can’t move forward with the win, and his crowd-unfriendly style means it will be difficult to find anyone wanting to fight him particularly: Buatsi is now coming off a loss and a robbery, looks flat and done, and has never lived up to his potential. If Buatsi had lost, he could’ve at least admitted things weren’t working, changed teams and regrouped to have another go. But now he’s positioned to fight in something bigger that he doesn’t deserve and that very few will want to watch.
