JARRELL MILLER FRUSTRATED CHISORA IS FIGHTING WHYTE AFTER AGREEMENT WAS MADE

Jarrell Miller was supposed to face Derek Chisora on December 13, but promoter allegedly has revealed that Chisora will instead fight Dillian Whyte in a trilogy in Manchester, England.

The sudden turn of events has left Miller on the outside looking in.

“Chisora has been calling me for months, saying to stay in shape and that we were going to make it happen,” Miller told The Ring. “We signed up for VADA, we signed the contract, everything was good to go and ready to clear, and all of a sudden, he didn't want to fight. I really don't know what Chisora is thinking. But he's a vet in the game and he might know something that I don't. He might know that his body is not ready for a Big Baby fight. Opportunities get missed, and they never come back sometimes.

“I'm 100 percent frustrated with the situation and how he went about it. But Chisora has earned the right to feel the way that he wants to. He's never been a person to back down from fights.

“I honestly don't know [why he had a change of heart]. I don't think he's scared of me. But I definitely think that he knows fighting me would be his last fight. He might be able to get two more out of his body after fighting Dillian Whyte.

“Big Baby” Miller (26-1-2, 22 KOs), a 37-year-old from New York, has not fought since August of last year when he battled former heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz Jr. to a majority draw. In the fight before in December of 2023, Miller was stopped by Daniel Dubois in the final seconds of their 10-round fight.

“I am staying in the gym, staying ready,” said Miller. “That's what I am on right now. I am ready to rock and roll whenever someone has the balls to.”

As for Chisora (36-13, 23 KOs), he’s looking to get a win against Whyte in his 50th professional fight. Whyte (31-4, 21 KOs) beat Chisora by split decision in 2016 and by an 11th-round stoppage in 2018.

Chisora bested Otto Wallin by unanimous decision in his most recent fight in February, and Whyte was stopped by Moses Itauma in only one round in August.

Will this sell?
I'm so over these two, I can't make an unbiased guess.
A gatekeeper vs a faded contender.
Doesn't look good on paper, but I have underestimated the British casual before

Push it back to December 2026, and let them take as many PEDs as they want over the next year to prepair.

Dillian Whyte vows to beat 'the bully' Derek Chisora: 'I've beaten bullies my whole life'

Dillian Whyte is expected to box Derek Chisora on December 13 in Manchester; The heavyweight rivals have fought twice before with Whyte winning both; After losing to Moses Itauma last time out, Whyte is determined to repeat another victory over Chisora

Dillian Whyte believes he will set a trilogy fight with Derek Chisora for December.

The two heavyweight rivals have boxed each other twice before in exciting clashes, with Whyte winning both.

They are expected to renew hostilities at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester on December 13, but a deal has not yet been signed.

"We're not there yet but there's interest from both sides. Obviously he's said he's not happy with the paperwork, none of us are happy with it," Whyte told Sky Sports News.

"There's lots of things that need to be nailed down and agreed.

"I just want to fight. I'm not getting any younger," he added. "This is the best fight for me at the moment.

"I've always taken hard fights, I've always wanted hard fights, Derek Chisora is no chump. Even if he's a thousand years old, he's going to be a worry."

Whyte suffered a stoppage defeat to rising star Moses Itauma in his last fight. But he is fully confident of winning yet again against Chisora.

"It's going to be a complete whitewash, 3-0, that's all I'm saying," he declared. "We've got a lot of pride. We respect each other. But we don't particularly like each other.

"He says a lot of stuff," Whyte continued. "Then when I say something he takes it personally.

"Derek Chisora's a bully... I've always been someone that spanked bullies my whole life."

Derek Chisora vs Dillian Whyte trilogy fight ‘off’ as mysterious report emerges

Derek Chisora is out of his anticipated trilogy fight with Dillian Whyte on December 13, according to reports.

The British heavyweights were to square off in a Christmas cracker before the New Year after David Haye announced Whyte had agreed terms to be Chisora's 50th and final opponent.

Haye is Chisora's former manager and revealed during an interview that his old client wanted to have his farewell fight against Whyte because he has lost to his British rival twice.

"[Chisora's] gonna be in great shape and with Dillian Whyte, it’s really nice to see two fighters from the same era, loads of history, and simply doing it," Haye said.

Chisora and Whyte then verbally agreed to meet in the squared circle for one last dance before Fabio Wardley's emphatic win over Joseph Parker last weekend at London's O2 Arena.

However, according to esteemed boxing journalist Dan Rafael, the fight is no longer going ahead in what has been an unusual development.

"Per source, heavyweights Derek Chisora [and] Dillian Whyte will not only not fight for the 3rd time on Dec. 13, as had been in the works," Rafael explained on X.

"But Chisora will not fight on that date against anybody. (I'm not yet sure of the reason)."

Fans speculated that Chisora may have sustained an injury in the last few days, but no new information has emerged.

Chisora, who turns 42 in late December, revealed in September that he wished to make a ring return one more time on December 13 in Manchester — the same card Moses Itauma is set to contest his next bout.

'Del Boy' had initially discussed a fight with Jarrell Miller, considered Zhilei Zhang, and even named Deontay Wilder as a suitable opponent.

But after a trilogy with Whyte, 37, was proposed, Chisora knew the fight he wanted in an attempt to extend his 36-13 professional record before retiring.

Boxing fans react to Chisora vs Whyte trilogy being cancelled

Some boxing fans have seen the news of the trilogy being cancelled as a sign that both men should retire.

One took to X and wrote: "Yeah, no one wanted it. Chisora or Whyte should fight Miller instead."

Another added: "Both should retire."

While a third said: "Hopefully neither fight again."

Others disagreed, saying Chisora vs Whyte was a great match-up for both heavyweights at this stage of their careers.

With Chisora now reportedly off the card completely, it is unknown whether his promoter allegedly and Queensberry will still go ahead with the Manchester show.

Depends on Chisora. If he’s actually injured or how long for even.

Could see him rematch Kabayel.

In Germany though?

He’d want it in the UK.

Itauma is more interesting to the UK fan. Chisora always shifts tickets

 I'd like to think that too.
I don't think anyone wants to pay for another Chisora cash out fight, no matter the opponent.
I heard Whyte lay back in bed too quickly and knocked himself out on the pillow.

I would suspect its simply economics , Chisora wants a big payday , but probably more so he wants to go out on a win , that does'nt leave many who would generate the big money and at the same time give chisora a win , , Whyte is smart he knows his value in this would'nt be suprised if they wanted him for peanuts and can't find a name who will lose to do it cheap enough to generate the cost of the show , after all who the fook will pay for ppv to watch chisora ko an old past it whyte , Miller might not read the script does'nt leave much does it

Zhang is the fight I'd prefer. It's the most competitive, and the most interesting. It'd arguably be Chisora's biggest win if he got it, or certainly one of them, and I don't think it's a fight he'd be embarrassed in even in defeat. Maybe, but I kinda doubt it.
