Don Jordan....holy shyt!

Post by sockdolager »

If anyone else has read the interview w/ Jordan in the book "In This Corner" please give your thoughts on him and that interview! I really dont feel like typing it out word for word but for those of you who haven't read it, I probably should....

He is a confessed murderer and was a hired assasin in his homeland of the Dominican Republic. He was only like 10 years old and he was killing people for money. Apparently he killed up to 30 people in one month. He went on to say how he was mad at a man so he tied him to a stake with wire and attempted to burn him alive! He went to a reform school for that and only served 36 months!

I will type one of the short paragraphs from his interview to show how deranged he was......

"whats wrong with killing a human? The first time you kill someone you throw up, you get sick as a dog. Your guts come out, you cry, you throw up. The second time, no feeling."

He was bannished from the sport for participating in "fixed fights" but I think it was more for the fact that he didn't rat on anyone during his trial. What are some thoughts and or comments on Jordan and this interview?

You obvoiusly didn't read everything. The author, Peter Heller made reference that Jordan's comments on his background weren't accurate.

Sorry Jaclem, didn't mean to be rude. I wrote that in response to the original poster.

Well I have the book too and theres nothing in it by Heller saying that he thought Jordan was telling porkies... I'm sure if Heller thought Jordan was lying about everything the interview wouldnt have been included in the book. Maybe Jordan stretched the truth here or there a bit but I belive him about being an assasin... why would he make it up??... in the type of background he came from thats how people live... certainly in the 40s and 50s... when you're that poor you'll do a lot of things...

To say you're a complete and utter idiot is a vast understatement. You make dumbass comments without any proof whatsoever to back it up. You quite obviously can't read. In the edition I have, there is a comment or footnote from Heller saying that the portion about Jordan's background is not to be taken seriously and that it is a fabrication.

Also, when I get home, I'll dig my copy out and quote the text from it where Heller says this. Hopefully that will shut you up and also provide an example of referencing a source for a comment made, rather than blindly making ludicrous comments without sources. You're a fool.

You're an uneducated loser! I guess if you were educated you'd understand what a footnote is. But I'll forgive your blue-collar background. It's your birthright, after all. A family of losers, I can only imagine. :TU:

"Although Jordan told of a life growing up in the Caribbean and working as an assassin, none of this is true. Jordan grew up in East Los Angeles."

Jerkov, you see, that's what I'm trying to tell you...backing up an argument using facts rather than spewing your garbage. Barry always tells you, and makes you look stupid as he calls you on this sort of thing all the time. Get an education and maybe you'll be able to hang with the upper class, dumbass Russkie. :TU:

He said that he was born in Dominica, but that he was half Indian... so I presume one of his parents was Indian...

Have you got learning problems or something?... I already said that perhaps the editions of the book are different... it happens, though I doubt that you read enough to know that. I have a first edition so maybe it was annoyted in later editions?... or maybe you're just making it up?... I really dont care, its obvious that you have some serious issues between your ears and I suggest you get some proffessional advice and get a life you saddo...      :TU:
