Would've been a great fight. I could easily see a narrow decision either way or a draw. I'd favor Foreman because I think he was more consistent with his jab, and just had better timing overall.
Both are big punchers, but both could take the others shot I think, and both are going to be very battered and bruised as this fight goes on.
Mercer should've been able to outwork, and outhustle Foreman at this point in their lives, but I honestly have a hard time imagining him doing so.

May sound like a broken record already, but it depends which Mercer shows up.
I think, Big George was more consistent. And my immediate thought was that I'd take Foreman.
But if Alex Stewart could batter and reconfigure Foreman's face around that time, Mercer could too.

I would pick Ray Mercer by split decision. I think that this is the guy with the toughest chin that George Foreman would have ever faced.
