Make sure to use one vote for Wardley and one for Parker.

I think general consensus will be Wardley to #2 and Parker to #3

Wardley up to #2
Parker drops to #3
Vianello fills the vacant spot left by Joshua following his recent wins over Barriere and win over Makhmudov last year.

Questionable stoppage but it's a win for Wardley. Not a bad enough loss to drop Parker below Kabayel given that Parker has the marginally better wins while Kabayel has been less active. Kabayel needs to take a top opponent to keep himself in the mix otherwise everyone's going to be demanding Usyk Vs Wardley and Usyk vs someone else after that.

1. Usyk
2. Wardley
3. Parker
4. Dubois
5. Kabayel
6. Ajagba
7. Torrez
8. Bakole
9. Chisora
10. Hrgovic
11. Vianello
12. Zhang
13. Itauma

6. Hrgovic
7. Zhang

Wardley at 2, Parker at 3

Kabayel is #1 contender to me at the moment.

Usyk is the Champion, and has no need to be ranked.

I guess with you guys' system of ranking the Champion #1 instead of as Champion then Wardley would be 3 and Parker would be 4.

I personally prefer

Champion: Usyk
1. Kabayel
2. Wardley
3. Parker

And so on. So that's how I see them in my mind's eye, but I understand in the modern world with all the fragmented titles why all that nonsense has become necessary.

Wardley up to 3, Parker to 4.

I personally have it:

1. Usyk
2. Kabayel
3. Wardley
4. Parker
5. Dubois
6. Hrgovic
7. Ajagba
8. Bakole
9. Chisora
10. Itauma

I would've ranked Sanchez and Zhang above Chisora and Itauma on record alone if they had actually done anything of note since being beaten up by Kabayel, but they haven't. And there was nothing iffy about those stoppages. Those are the sort of losses that make you consider if your heart is really still in this.

That's the cool thing about this division. There's a lot of guys out in the wings like that who would be right back in the mix with just 1 more win or 2.

Even Joe Joyce. As bad as it's been going for him. If he wins 2 in a row. He's a viable opponent again. That's just how it goes.

A lot of these guys are nearing the age though where they're going to have to stop soon though surely. It's time for a new crop of Heavies to come along and make them.

Yh not like these hw’s can move up and down in weight every other fight.

They’re stuck in the hw division.

Upsets can happen

It's probably one of the reasons, in addition to the more obvious ones, that casuals follow heavyweights more. They know who's in the division and that rarely changes. In the lighter weight classes most guys can flip between divisions on a regular basis.

Or in the case of a lot of the Lightweight stars now they spend years and years at a time without fighting a meaningful fight at all.

Even Terence Crawford is guilty of that.

Wardley 3
Parker 4

Honestly had parker clearly ahead at the time of the early stoppage. I almost listed parker 3 and wardley 4 in a protest to the bs stoppage.

I don't think he will be moving much after that fight that's worth a new thread. Could chuck him in when people vote on bringing Joshua back in.

The vote is over.

Most votes were for Wardley to move up to 3rd, and not 2nd.. So Parker for 4th place based on votes, so I bumped Kabayel up to 2nd. We ok with that?
