There is still a potential snoozer before Noakes kicks off the main 4.

Fairly ho hum Prelims so far. We had one good KO, and that Alakel guy looked better than he had before, but still fairly mediocre.
Re: Round-by-Round: David Benavidez vs. Anthony Yarde - 22 November 2025
Smith is awful. There's something about this American commentary team, and Malik Scott's Mrs: just very polished and compressed sounding. Flat. There is no character there.

Boxing promoters tend to often make themselves a part of the whole circus of it all. Don King was shady as it gets, and we put up with that dude for years.
Shady characters are always gonna be operating behind the scenes in boxing to some extent. The nature of the business attracts them.

Conner Benn......shat up, brev

Smith is just too much, but I’d have any combo of Costello, Rawlings, Jones, Barker, Clock Face, Woodhall, even Nelson.

"you'll take on anybody right" says clueless Kate to Conor Benn who at the age of 29 hasn't yet fought anybody

Is Norman a favourite over Haney?

I don’t want to root against Haney for no particular reason, but if he was a strong favourite that would definitely do it.

The bookies like Devin, the favourite a few weeks ago, but punters backing Norman have brought it to 50/50 now

He's going to get knocked out. He was always prone to getting hurt, and I think his chin is even weaker now, I don't think it's for nothing he was so concerned about the ghost of Jose Ramirez.

For an apparent non-puncher, Nmomah sits down on his shots. Was expecting more of a mover.
This one looks like a decision fight all day long though.

Good start to the fight for Vito. Looks like Nmomah is looking to load up with right hands, and hurt him. So far Vito's superior technique and quickness is getting it done for him through 2. He was landing a lot more of his shots cleanly in the 2nd as well.
2-0 Vito
2-0 Vito

The connoisseurs have been calling Bam Martinez the best fight of the night, but looking at the odds, you can get 15/2 for Martinez.
I might have some on Yarde at 6/1 just for just for fun. That’s not as good odds as I was expecting

From what I read, Norman just edged to favourite a few days ago, due to him talking a great game, and now it’s back to 50-50, but to start with Haney was favouritegregregegg wrote: ↑22 Nov 2025, 18:23the betting site i look at actualy did the reverse of this. started norman fav but got backed into even..MightyWarrior wrote: ↑22 Nov 2025, 18:21 The bookies like Devin, the favourite a few weeks ago, but punters backing Norman have brought it to 50/50 now

I’ve had a couple of cans of Bud and still I really don’t have a good feeling about the Yarde fight.
It’s going to take an upset win from Noakes for me to go all mystic Meg on a Brit double victory tonight.
